For all the kids and non West Europeans watching this: this song is about the fear of dying in a nuclear war during the cold war. It paints the situation of West German youth trapped between east and west. A similar song is Vamos a la Playa describing the detonated bomb ( in this song he gold glow on our face). These songs got again a feeling of reality now that the Russian neighbors start showing off their nuclear arsenal again.
