The lead singer of Alphaville is Marian Gold, who is now 69 years of age. This song released on September 20, 1984. Almost forty years later, and Mr. Gold still has it. An amazing voice! I just discovered "Forever Young" a week ago and it is already one of my favorite songs. How beautiful it is!

Marian's voice is as good as ever and the adaption to orchestra, created a new level for the song without sounding overpowering. A big thankyou to all, because I'm sure that many worked hard to get this to sound right.

Extraordinary song. I was born in 1980, and Alphaville is the music of my childhood. I am glad I found this orchestral version. This is so beautiful, and I am also glad to see how the singer of the Alphaville has changed along the years. His voice is still powerful and very finely tuned to the song. I do believe this song is a universal message of eternal youth, no matter what your biological age may be. Deep inside of us, youth never dies, it always stays there. I use this opportunity to show my gratitude and deepest feelings to the members of the band for sharing such amazing gifts with the world.
