INSIDE GLASGOWS WW2 Air Raid Bunker | URBEX | Scotland

This bunker was built to save up to 1000 people during the war and is 600m long. It was said to be Britain’s largest world war 2 shelter at the time. There was some cool things inside, like the old machinery, work benches & shovels. We even spotted the remains of an old cart. You can see the rows of toilets people would have used. While exploring this place it gives a sad vibe knowing they may never see their families again and what they must have went through during that awful time. Sadly parts of it has caved in blocking some parts of the tunnel off.

Interesting to see , I suppose the people of Glasgow had to be thankful for this at the time , it looks as though it was built quickly , most people seem to think only London had air raids yet forget about other parts of the country that suffered as well.
