The Abandoned 1950's Opel Olympia Car | IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS | URBEX | Scotland
Come with us while we search for an Old 1950's Opel Olympia Car hidden in the middle of the woods located somewhere in the Scottish highlands., It appears the car is a Left hand drive which may have been brought back from Germany post war in the 50s. It is said that the car may have been driven in there in the 60s as shelter for the forest planting squad and has been left there ever since. We eventually ran out of day light making it harder to capture the real beauty of this car.

The caravans were initially installed for emergency housing but were eventually left empty for...

Have a look inside one of Scotlands Active military sites. The area has been used since 1942 as a range to train forces for the ww2 invasion of Europe. It is still in use to this day. We discovered some old tanks and Bunkers. We even came across some explosives lying around, old ration packs, and bullets. Seeing the tank that has been shot at using big rounds gives you an insight to the real wo...

This bunker was built to save up to 1000 people during the war and is 600m long. It was said to be Britain’s largest world war 2 shelter at the time. There was some cool things inside, like the old machinery, work benches & shovels. We even spotted the remains of an old cart. You can see the rows of toilets people would have used. While exploring this place it gives a sad vibe knowing they may ...

Where is this and what was it used for
Shout out uk column. Very good video
Was here twice in 1960 and and about 62, o was very homesick , sat and the table for children who wet their bed . I had a sister with me older one then younger sister the second time we were only very small. But we did like it
The walls are full of mold. You shouldn’t even be in there. It’s toxic (black mold).
I was wearing a mask. 😊
Cool vid! Tick central that thick heather 😵💫
Thank you. They were everywhere 🙈😂
I am here as I have heard a lot about this place on UKC. Its a shame that what went on here but it's not the buildings fault, it's those who used it for their evil purposes who are the monsters.
absolutely awesome explore Natasha, well done to u all x
@@kimberleyfleck3431 thanks xx
What language are they speaking
Scottish 😂
Scottish of course 😂😂😂
chuck a battery in it and its good to go lol
😂😂
Who are the two women in the pictures above the fireplace
I’m sure it’s the 2 sisters who built or first ever owned the house.
They were the sisters who owned the house. When they passed it was left to the area as a place to do good for children. They wanted it to be a thing of good and dark, twisted people used it for evil. My heart goes out to all the women who survived that place. Been following this since David Scott brought it to the Column and the stories I've heard brings tears to my eyes. Keep fighting ladies. You have our support.
So brave I was in this home in 1964 and was beaten , force fed, humiliated went to see it the other day
I'm so sorry for what you endured and all the others. Hugs from America 🇺🇸
Great channel, Keep up the good work!
Thank you, appreciate it.
Hi Natasha ! Loving your videos & your style:-)👍 It gives us the viewer time to observe & digest what you are exploring ! My concentration sometimes can be 'through the roof' so I don't miss anything!!!!😂 Hope you were ok, Natasha when you made a quick entry down the ladder!!!🤦♀️Take Care ! The Archaeology building wasn't opened that long!! Some 12 yrs. Such a shame. I'm pleased to hear it's been purchased by someone so look f/w 2 seeing the building brought back to life again!!! :-)
An old derelict building with contents & the passage of time is without doubt, quite remarkable thing to see & having it document. The type of people /person that lived there. The surface of personal posessions. Furniture. Sadly, the demise of a once much loved pet cat🙏🥀 Embracing old empty, derelict buildings can have a magical, mysterious beauty about them. Of course not forgetting the hidden dangers of such buildings. Urban Exploring is a bit of a grey area.!!! It is also carried out at ones own risk. Falling debris/ falling through floors/ staircases. The most dreaded is Asbestos!!! I'm grateful to all genuine Urban Explorers who do this awesome work. They are brilliant at documenting history. Without it, history is lost forever.
Hi Natasha. It must have been extremely hard exploring with your team, Fornethy House. I have to say, watching this video for the first time struck me not having a nice feeling about the place.. Every wall, every door, every window tells a very sad, distressing stories of very real human beings ~ children. It's hard to take in the abuse that took place in that massive building all those years ago. Sadly not the only place either. Thank goodness, places like these have been shut down. There is never an excuse for any forms of abuse to take place anywhere. Thankyou for this video that highlighted such dreadful times for a lot of children. Whilst the horrible memories remain, I'm hoping the children @ Fornethy House are in a much better place now.
It truly was hard. I personally wasn’t even fully aware of the full extent of what went on in there until finding out on the drive home, i googled it As we couldn’t believe what we saw in there.. i wondered what the script was with this place so I put my brave pants on as Part of me didn’t want to hear it. As my heart can’t take the pain. And for personal reasons.. to then find out by the research online and then to hear the women’s stories i was heartbroken. Infact, i was driving home at 4am and i just cried. It killed me On the inside!! The place screams heartache.. you can feel it walking through the corridors. You can feel it just walking the Forrest path up to it. I’ve been to thousands of buildings but nothing like this one. . It was very hard for me to explore this one. But I’m glad I did. Look at the amazing thing it’s done for these survivors❤️
Totally agree. I know someone who was here too in the 1970s and she's doing much better. But I pray all get the justice they deserve. ⚖️🏴
Big up UK Column!
I was here at about 9yrs old, 50yrs ago.How strange to see this now after so many years.
I also arrived via UK COUMN .Thanks for this , and subscribed.

Same here! Yep well done, this needs exposure!
Yes me as well. UK Column alerted me to this
Extreamly watchable content
I was there in this horrible place but in no way was I underprivileged,my mother was in hospital and it was supposed to be a 'holiday' for me
😢 so awful.
Again, love the style. But with no into, I cannot appreciate the visuals. Some background, of whatever we are watching, would be beneficial
You may not consider the style you present, but it is unique; I love it.
Was at this place 1967 horrific memories of what i seen thankyou for letting me see inside one more time natasha x
I think the car under the tarp might be an Audi, hard to tell but the indicator lights looks like it might be Audi 80/100
I know someone who was here as a girl and she recently did an interview with STV about the abuse that went on! If anyone's interested in seeing it it's on GMB news tomorrow morning 26/07/2024
Thank you for that. X
You're welcome! You forwarded the video onto the person I'm talking about (CJ) after she contacted you to see if you minded of she gave it to STV!?!..x
@@MohawkCordiner that’s right. 🙂
Aye, I know someone very close to me who was here as well at the time. This would have been the 70s. I'm 40 and only recently found this out. I hope they all get the justice they deserve and the Scottish Govt include Fornethy House survivors in the process.
Hi Natasha my wife and I love your videos keep them coming lass very best wishes

Just look out for more ladders in basements lol
nice video Natasha
Cool videos to watch but see the bit with the ladder on this 1 ouch safety and all that lol
Me and my cousin were there yesterday honestly we didn’t get far in might go back
I remember this well when it was open. Was absolutely brilliant and fascinating. So sad to see it now. There was an amazing, huge wickerman at one point. All the outdoor space, thatched cottages, all the staff in costume etc. Was brilliant. Sure I still have a small bear from the gift shop with a branded sash on it!
Its all overgrown outside now, and not much of anything left. apart from a couple of wooden huts.
Was a cool one! Nice video 😎
It Sure was, Thanks.
Great explore! 🤘🏼
Thank you.
