Holy fuck, Mary’s voice is ON POINT on every single song. She actually holds more power in her voice now after all these years

I fall in love with these two every time i hear them together. Her technical ability and tone are so wonderful, and the lyrics are so crushing. Not to mention her vocal style is so reminiscent of the 90s. Its so goddamn good.

If you're surrounded by fans of Yamaoka in real life then you're very lucky :P I've switched two countries so far, that's how I assumed it's not a country thing, and nobody seems to even know of the franchise Silent Hill let alone their main composer. That genius Akira scared us half to death with his sound design in games, but I never doubted the fact that he could be a "regular" musician. He has such talent.
Seeing pyramid head rock his sword as a guitar in the last tune was the moment of the week for me, hands down.

Этот человек - чувствует , слышит, дышит музыкой и способен максимально воссоздать и описать при помощи инструментов ЛЮБЫЕ эмоции, сделав свои произведения ЖИВЫМИ (по-другому назвать нельзя). Я посмотрела все лайвы - это нечто! Слезы текли ручьем, в груди все сжималось. Никогда еще так сильно музыка не проникала мне в душу, вывернув все внутренности наизнанку (в хорошем смысле)!

It doesn't make me forget about my sadness, this music makes me accept it, because they make it sound so beautiful, sadness and greif can be beautiful and to hear it being celebrated rather than being compressed is freeing and gratifying.

In another timeline Mary could have totally been an incredibly successful touring musician. She has such a soulful gritty voice that’s perfect for this style of music. And her stage presence and charisma is incredible! Same for Akira, he looks so happy up there, and seeing his face light up when Mary got the crowd cheering for him made me tear up 😭🙏 Wish these guys would do a run of shows in America

I need a dvd/blu ray version of this master piece!!! I watched this concert last night again and it was so majestic, like the first time I saw it.
I've just recently found out about this show and that they actually did shows like this!!! I was like "How does this exist and I didn't know?!" It's like a dream come true. I hope they do this again one day.
This is the reason I began writing, composing, and performing music for Haunted Attractions and video game ambience... Akira's raw talent and the way he can make that guitar sing, paired with the dark tonal attitude Mary lays down with her vocals, gave immense life to more than a video game...

@@dreadinside654 The further you move away from Moscow, the more rundown the country gets. The government doesn't care about small towns. I know people who lived in metropoles (!) in Siberia and moved to Moscow - multiple 1000s of kilometers away - in their 20s because they simply saw no future at home. Citizens feel left alone and there are in fact towns that are deserted like Silent Hill, but a handful of people still refuses to leave. Also keep in mind that classical Russian literature is typically quite dark and focused on psychology. After all, the plot of Silent Hill 2 is based on Fyodor Dostoyevsky's 1866 novel "Crime and Punishment".

Я первый раз смотрел - надеялся, чтобы только у неё где нечаянно косяк не проскочил.. Всё таки это крайне нешутливо в плане сложности... Но она просто доказала свой уровень мастерства. Просто поклон... И Акира красавчик, хоть знатно рубанулся на этом треке : ) Ёши и Израиль понятное дело тоже красавчики..
