    Just came hea after i recommendation. Good content but in Uganda we don't use oil and also give it alot of time to make its own oil

      Thank you very much for stopping by…. Yes yes, I have learnt that too from our sisters from Uganda here in the comment section. Notice the little oil I added was not to cook the peanut sauce but just to help fry the onions and that too was optional, just a personal preference to add flavour in the sauce😊

    We don't add oil when preparing this sauce but you have to cook it on low heat for a longer time and you are good to go

    Hello.the video is fantastic.kindly tell me the name of this sauce because on Tuesday this week I went to busia border and I requested this sauce but nobody understood what I wanted.instead they brought me the raw grinded ground nuts.

      The general name for it is just groundnut sauce/gnut sauce and some groundnut stew. The nutritional value is the same as the normal peanuts; fibre, protein, high natural fats, and folate among others. It's just another interesting way of eating peanuts. I hope this helps

      And it should be cooked in a sourcepan not frying pan - to give the source boiling room because it rises like milk.

      If you have raw peanuts, just grind them either in a blender or food processor until they are relatively fine. If you have roasted peanuts, do the same, however, these will turn into a paste almost like peanut butter but don’t over process to make peanut butter. Just until all the huge lumps are gone

      Matoke is the local name for raw/green bananas. It's commonly used in Kenya, and most parts of East Africa.

    Am not sure if these g nuts r ready coz t needs some time and sauce pan shud be like a bowl and in Uganda we don't cook g nuts and again put cooking oil am sure yo not a Ugandan,, for us we eat our food naturally cooking oil has no use in g nuts

      @@MyAfricana yes dia and don't slice bananas just put g.nuts immediately after the boiling of matooke then leave them to boil too,, but it's better when boil matooke put enough water,salt,onions, tomatoes or whichever spices then after g. nuts when they boil together reduce to the lowest heat and chill then after u come back and find all the oils on top and enjoy bby gal,, thx mumy I have really liked u
