Made with Love ❤️
From My Jikoni
Just came hea after i recommendation. Good content but in Uganda we don't use oil and also give it alot of time to make its own oil
Thank you very much for stopping by…. Yes yes, I have learnt that too from our sisters from Uganda here in the comment section. Notice the little oil I added was not to cook the peanut sauce but just to help fry the onions and that too was optional, just a personal preference to add flavour in the sauce😊
Good.
In our place.we don't fry g.nuts
It has its own oil
Yummy yummy 😋😋😋
Yum-yum 😊😊😊

When will our African Sisters in Uganda 🇺🇬 (All of Africa) build a Culinary Cooking University in America 🇺🇸 to teach their African American Sisters how to cook and prepare our traditional foods of East, West, Central, and Southern Africa 🌍????
That would really be great👌🏾 We really have such a deep and rich food culture in Africa. The way our natural ingredients are paired and cooking methods which elevate meals are a force to be reckoned with in their own rights. Africa to the World💪🏾
@My Africana Our ultimate goal 👏🏿 is to educate and culturally unite us as a people and eat our original food from our African Continent.... Also the economic benefits will help our people in Africa 🌍 who is growing our agricultural foods.. Its a win 🏆 win 🏆 situation for both sides.... Black ⚫️ Africans and Black African Americans must unite.....

Hello.the video is fantastic.kindly tell me the name of this sauce because on Tuesday this week I went to busia border and I requested this sauce but nobody understood what I wanted.instead they brought me the raw grinded ground nuts.
Lastly ,what are the nutritional values for this source
Thanks
Am ochieng
Kisumu
Kenya
Thank you 😊
The general name for it is just groundnut sauce/gnut sauce and some groundnut stew. The nutritional value is the same as the normal peanuts; fibre, protein, high natural fats, and folate among others. It's just another interesting way of eating peanuts. I hope this helps
It's had to get Ugandan food in busia, ialways look inever get hotels with traditional food
It’s called Binyebwa.
In Busia it's called maido
Cool
Can I use roasted powder
Yes, you can. Cooking time will be shorter
Cooker name please
Ramtons induction cooker
Maybe in kenya but uganda no need to put oil
Actually the Ugandan way we don't add our, Gnuts have there own oil
And it should be cooked for over an hour till it gets oil on top
That's true. Gnuts generate their own oil
@@annemariaskitchen7750 g nuts need tym that's true and very low heat
Kindly share your orginal recipe pls
And it should be cooked in a sourcepan not frying pan - to give the source boiling room because it rises like milk.
how do you make the gnut paste?
If you have raw peanuts, just grind them either in a blender or food processor until they are relatively fine. If you have roasted peanuts, do the same, however, these will turn into a paste almost like peanut butter but don’t over process to make peanut butter. Just until all the huge lumps are gone
Thank you!!@@MyAfricana
You are most welcome
What is matoke?
Matoke is the local name for raw/green bananas. It's commonly used in Kenya, and most parts of East Africa.
Here is a simple recipe I shared on the same👇🏽

@@MyAfricana thank you so much!! ❤️
You are most welcome 🤗
No need to put oil
Agreed. That was an optional preference just for stir frying the onions.
@@MyAfricana
Seed oils / vegetable oil is toxic , use butter or ghee
Am not sure if these g nuts r ready coz t needs some time and sauce pan shud be like a bowl and in Uganda we don't cook g nuts and again put cooking oil am sure yo not a Ugandan,, for us we eat our food naturally cooking oil has no use in g nuts
No, I am not Ugandan. I am equally a student of the world😊 sharing recipes I have learnt along the way. I enjoy this recipe and it works perfectly on my saucepan. The oil as stated in the video is optional, something I like doing.
@@MyAfricana wow,, I love this. Yo even better than some ugandans,, blessings dia
Thanks a lot 🙏🏼. Next time I'll try without adding oil.
@@MyAfricana yes dia and don't slice bananas just put g.nuts immediately after the boiling of matooke then leave them to boil too,, but it's better when boil matooke put enough water, salt, onions, tomatoes or whichever spices then after g. nuts when they boil together reduce to the lowest heat and chill then after u come back and find all the oils on top and enjoy bby gal,, thx mumy I have really liked u
I'll definitely try this out and see the outcome. I'll share after several tries😋 Thank you very much for this recipe and for the encouragement 🥰. I look forward to trying it out ❤️
You just tried
Thanks
