  • In this video I show you how to install the completely Plug and Play LED Fog Lights on your 2021+ Ford Bronco by Mabett.
    These LED Fog Lights by Mabett offer both Amber and White lighting elements. When your headlights are on, the fog lights light up with an animation sequence and then settle on a nice bright white. When you turn on your turn signal, they change to amber and have a sequential turn signal to them as you'll see in the video.
    Really quick and easy installation, no drilling, cutting, OR WIRING required, simple plug and play installation in the modular bumper! Nice and bright, a sleek addition to your Bronco.
    I also show you that you can connect these with the Mabett Trail Sight Lights as well, and they will work in unison. (Here's an install video for the Trail Sight Lights: • How to Install the bla... )

    Just want to thank you for this video and to the company for putting out such an easy to work with product. I bought something similar from what looked like a reputable place (LED Factory- don't every buy from them) but ended up being trash. for 1 they're $220 so quite a bit more than these. Next, I was sent the product totally bare (so no wire harnesses, you had to somehow splice them into your factory headlights?) and ZERO instructions. When I contacted them they sent a 24 second video that honest to god said "connect the wires" and that was all. Not only did they not have instructions, no one at their company knew how to install them either. I paid an extra $20 to send them back to them and immediately bought these. Thanks Again!

    Great install video. Just finished installing myself tonight. Believe or not the hardest part was removing the tiny screw from the plastic connector in the wheel well liner. You really have to push down and unscrew gently. Once I got that feel down the rest was cake. My connector unplugged easy. They look amazing and like it came this way from the factory.

    So I have installed the Mabett fog lights and trail lights after watching your video my question is my fog lights don’t do that start up sequence like yours could there have been a change? Thanks

    • @CUPRADESIGN
      @CUPRADESIGN  Před 9 měsíci

      There has not been a change that I am aware of. Now these fog lights, if memory serves me right, only work when the headlights are on, due to them being plugged into the headlight harness.
      But as far as I know, there haven’t been any modifications made to the design.
      If you continue to have issues, reach out to Ryan Gao at Mabett and he will be more than responsive to you. Hopefully you’re able to sort it out.
      Have you double checked the connectors are seated correctly in your headlight pigtail?

    • @BadRobot56
      @BadRobot56 Před 9 měsíci +1

      The fog lights come on but only white and amber when using blinkers, I did plug the trail light harness into the headlight first and then piggy backed the fog lights into them.

    • @CUPRADESIGN
      @CUPRADESIGN  Před 9 měsíci

      @@BadRobot56 - You might want to try plugging the fog lights directly to the headlights first so they get the fill signal from the headlights. That’s how I’ve plugged mine in. And then piggyback the LED trail sight markers off the harness fit the fog lights. That’s how I have mine set up.

    So since the headlights will need to be on, will this work then with all day running lights? And if so then that means the fog lights will be constantly on too and not be able to be turned off? As to the lighting which one is better this or the oracle?

    • @CUPRADESIGN
      @CUPRADESIGN  Před 10 měsíci

      With these lights the connector goes into the headlight harness for their source of power. I don’t recall if they turn on with just the DRLs or not. The fog lights will always be on whenever the headlights are on. They will be off when the headlights are off.
      As for which is better, that is subjective. These ones have the ability to be amber and white, they have a start up sequence which people like and they do turn on as turn signals too.
      The Oracle lights are round and mimic the headlights, I have them hooked up to my AUX switches, so I can turn them on and off when I want to. Just depends what you need from a set of fog lights. Sounds like the Raptor version might be more to your liking as they have a remote control so you can make them do whatever you want, when you want.

      @@joshr19821 - If you want to cut off the headlight connector from the harness on the fog lights, I don’t see why you can’t. You would just need to make sure that you have a switch that is fused high enough for them, that’s all.

    • @CUPRADESIGN
      @CUPRADESIGN  Před 11 měsíci +1

      I like the simplicity of these, with the plug in directly to the headlight, however, it means that you can only use these ones when the headlights are turned on.
      The Oracle ones are tied in directly to my AUX switches and can be turned on independently of the headlights, for that reason I would have to say the Oracle ones.

    What do you do if you already have a factory fog lights on standard bumper. I’m going to replace the standard bumper with modular and planning to use the same wiring from fog lights I already got. If there any way I can achieve it?

    • @CUPRADESIGN
      @CUPRADESIGN  Před měsícem +1

      You may have to purchase some connectors to go from these fog lights to the OEM fog light connector. I don't think there is a plug and play harness that will do that, so you may have to wire them up yourself. Alternatively, you can cut off the OEM connector and the connector for the fog lights and splice them together, but that is totally your choice to do that. The alternative, if you have them, is to forego the fog switch and hook them up to an AUX switch and leave your fog light switch intact. That is how I have the fog lights installed that remain in our Bronco (the Oracle Lighting Triple LED fog lights in an earlier video).
      I've not had this experience, a) having the modular bumper from the factory and b) not having the OEM fog light switch, so I can't speak confidently on how to make that connection. I don't know if this helps, but good luck!

      Hmmm, that sounds odd. I wonder if they had a batch that were wired up backwards from the factory.
      The lights are all the same, I wonder in you unscrewed them from the back if there is enough wiring to change the order of the actual lights. That would solve your problem. You shouldn’t have to do that, but it ‘may’ sort the issue. Sorry to hear that you are having issues with them.

      @CUPRADESIGN  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Thank you, appreciate it and thank you for watching. As far as the push pins go, they are a real pain and horrible design.
      Option 1) Yank them out and buy replacements (not ideal!)
      Option 2) If you are able to hold the outer most edge of them and then with a Philips screwdriver put literally no pressure on them at all, and try and back them out, you can sometimes turn them just enough to get a fingernail underneath the edge of the Philips head. When you get that far you can press a little harder on the Philips screw with your fingernail behind it. They tend to come out easier that way.
      3) If that fails, if you can get your hand behind the fender liner through the small gap at the edge closest to the front of the Bronco, you can actually grab the back side of that first one with either your fingers or pliers. You can then hold it and back out the Philips screw. You then may have to do the same for others as you reach behind the liner, hold them from behind as you remove the Philips screw.
      These are the three options I’ve had to go with, when trying to remove these dang pins! Hopefully that helps.
