    -- Summary --
All of us know the feeling when stress is running wild through our body. Everything you think about is influenced by the anxiety and worry. It’s horrible, right?
You can probably relate to this since about 30% of people who visit their primary care physician are actually there as a result of stress-induced symptoms. Things like headaches, muscle tension, stomach and digestive discomfort, anxiety, and depression are tied to stress.
The pain that results from these symptoms can produce a deep sense of futility and hopelessness. In fact, people struggling like this often think the pain is permanent.
    But it’s simply NOT true!
According to Dr. Amen, you might not be able to eliminate the stressors in your life entirely, but you can start feeling better-immediately!
Along with his wife, health and wellness expert Tana Amen, Dr. Amen has created a short video to teach you four simple steps to reduce the negative impact of stress in your life.
Just watch above to start pushing your stress level down.
Here’s a sneak peek at what you’ll learn about managing your stress in their information-packed video.
Kill those ANTs! Putting a stop to automatic negative thoughts reduces anxiety and depression symptoms.
Gratitude = A Better Attitude. Practicing gratitude actually changes your brain chemistry! Bringing your attention to the good things in your life has a powerful effect.
Sweat, Don’t Fret. Exercise increases both dopamine and serotonin levels in the brain! Exercise daily to experience radical positive effects on your anxiety symptoms.
Eat Smart Carbs. Many of us seek comfort in carbs when we feel stressed or anxious. Eating the right kind of carbs helps stabilize blood sugar for a more balanced mood.
In addition to this helpful video, we have a special gift for you! Subscribe to our newsletter here and you will receive a free MP3 download to help calm your anxiety.
Amen Clinics has helped thousands of people manage stress, depression, and anxiety. Contact us today to schedule an appointment at any of our six clinics, nationwide.

If we listen to music whenever we are in stress or start getting more social with our friends and our social group.
We can cure our stress pretty much. Those habits reduces our stress and lightens up our mood. Not ignoring to laugh every once in a while when we get the time.

As I'm sitting here trying to do the things they are telling me to do, and being unsuccessful makes me feel like it's even more my fault and that there is really no way to get better. Seeing them happy and giving these easy tips that I can't seem to do is frustrating and makes my anxiety even more intense. That's all personally speaking.

    • @conversationswithkat5710

@@darrius2300 failing is inevitable for everyone. The trick is to understand that your brain is trying to defeat you, because it will not allow you to have a rational response, and the challenge is not giving into it and not giving up. If you know you are struggling, accept that it's ok and that it's ok to fail. Then, when you fail, the challenge is to keep going, try again, and don't give up. You must remember that it's temporary, and will get better with the appropriate action of treatment, which also requires the sacrifice of hard work on your part to push yourself past your comfort zone, and self talk your way to a better you. You can do it!!! Don't give up! I speak from personal achievement of this myself.

additionally, anxious people should avoid caffeine (decaf tastes just as good)...also using a planner to set goals and track tasks really helps avoid procrastination and soothe nerves as you get things done & are less apt to forget something (dump your brain onto the pages)

Potatoes make you fat... What kind of science do they base that up on? In fact if you boil them, they are very healthy. 100 g of protein only contains 77 calories. You only gain weight by consuming too many calories, not by eating potatoes or carbs in general.

I think the message they were trying to deliver in the action was to give more love than hate. Hate does tend to continue to expand itself. The point of watching the video was because you wanted to feel less stressed and less anxiety right? Be open and try to view things in a different way than you did before. It might help a little more.
