    Hi Tony, what scooter are you referring to (in 0:55) that pulls up entirely, without removing any of its components and it’s still very light? Is it the e-Foldi?

    I think you should mention (and demo) the walking stick holders more often in your videos as they are super!

    I have the Deluxe version for many years and I really really apreciate and love it 👍👍👍 buuuut I have one question:
    When I have to charge the battery is it necessary to remove the little piece (sorry I don't know the exact name for this little piece) which is the connection of the travelscoot and the battery or can I let it be there in/on the battery during the charging?
    Right now I remove it but there is none instruction if it's necessary or safer to remove this little thing or not during the charging!!??!!
    Thanks in advance for your reply and 🌞🌞🌞 greetings from Germany,
    Ela 🤗

    Dear Sir: I am a huge fan of the Travel Scoot ! I am not the user, my wife is the one. She has it, since 2013, so must be the 660 model. And I choose it for her in the Internet. Very reliable, it keeps working ever since. Just changing 3 times the power pack. The belt still in good shape, and original. I am the maintenance guy for the scooter. Just clean it, lubrication and that’s it. We have travel by airplane mostly in Europe, USA. From Mexico where we live.
    Now I learn it is designed a new drive train with out belt. The only week point of the 660 model are the brakes. Now it has a new design.
    We still use the heavy battery pack.
    Now I learn that the lithium battery is accepted by airlines. An of course the weight go down.
    At this point I would like to replace the throttle ( it is broken ) and instead of full charge, the LED Indicator go to red , but the scooter runs well, as it would be in green
    Any advice? What to check ? Is probably something going wrong in the motor ? I hope to get communication from you. I just learn many things watching your CZcams videos. I am going to make the lateral hole in the support of the back test.

    The Di Blasi folds itself with the touch of a button and you don´t need to take it apart, piece by piece.

    • @TravelScootUSA
      @TravelScootUSA  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Carlos, thanks for your comment. The Di Blasi weighs roughly twice as much as the TravelScoot Escape (or Deluxe), carries only 220 lbs max, vs 350 lbs for the TravelScoot, and costs about $500 more. Its design also places far more emphasis on folding than overall usability. There are other alternatives we would recommend first.

    I'm 150 pounds, and that seat it is not comfortable for me. I found it very small. Just wondering how a person of 300 pounds would handle that small seat.

    You can't take it apart and then hold one piece up and say it's the lightest scooter on the market. The scooty is 28 lb and it's one piece. I'm not saying I don't like yours and that I like theirs because I like your wheels better. I'm just pointing out the fact that you shouldn't say it's the lightest scooter on the market anyway where can this scooter be found in the United states?

    • @TravelScootUSA
      @TravelScootUSA  Před 3 lety +4

      Yes we can. The Scooty weighs 13 kg (28.6 lbs) WITHOUT seat or battery, according to their website. The TravelScoot is lighter than the Scooty. Our Deluxe weighs only 25 lbs without seat and battery, and 35 lbs COMPLETE with everything, including the battery. The TravelScoot Shopper weighs less than 28 lbs COMPLETE with battery, and 26 lbs without the backrest. The TravelScoot also has a higher load capacity. @@TravelScootUSA The design is terrible. I wish companies would consult designers before bringing products to market - it looks like a prototype and not something I would be proud to be seen riding. Disabled customers deserve stylish products like everyone else.

      Hi William, thanks for checking out our channel. Our reply: No, you haven't seen a scooter just like this one for 1/2 the price. The TravelScoot is and remains the world's lightest and strongest mobility scooter, with a warranty weight limit over 10X its total weight. Plus superior warranty and customer service. We also offer a (modest) $100 discount to US vets, and the VA does assist with our scooter. Let us know if you want to know more. usa@travelscoot.com
