GIVEAWAY CLOSED, Congratulations to Margaret Herrin, Shelly Miller and bijan arnwine for winning the giveaway! Thanks to any who took part.
I have a special fondness for headlamps! I work hunting camps in Wyoming backcountry and my day starts at 2:30 AM. The bears and moose are thick there, and hands free lighting is a must, as the 2 hands you got ain't enough when your carrying 2 guns and at least 2 cans of bear spray while trying to catch and saddle horses in the pitch black backcountry in the middle of the night. I keep at least 6 or 7 headlamps and a few handheld in my gear, along with lots of spare batteries and chargers. Whatever it takes to keep yourself from becoming bear poop. Thanks Cutlerylover for another fine video perspective for us who love to play in the dark.
I love the convenience of wearing a headlamp, I can walk my dogs at night, go out to my vehicles in the dark, and work on things while having both of my hands free.
Love headlamps for work/projects, and for setting up camp!
Love headlamps. ThruNite is my favorite.
Very good reasons to have both, a straight flashlight & a 90 degree headlight. Thank you.
All my Thrunite lights are great. A headlamp would be a great addition. Especially one of the Thrunite quality.
I agree with the versatility of the angled headlamp that allows you to remove it from the headband and be used by itself. And the fact that most allow you to adjust the angle up or down easily.
I've loved headlamps since they first came out before they were rechargeable, I am a mechanic, so they help me out big time since I can still see what I'm working on and have both hands available at the same time.
Since we intend moving out of the city, a headlamp would have some definite advantages. With both hands free, it'd be like having a third hand.
I use my Thrunite headlamp as my bedside light. If there's ever a need for a headlamp in the night, it's right there, ready to use.
Using a head torch was a game changer for me when rummaging around in my loft.
What great ideas as a gift for any person. Truly useful these days
the th30v2 has been my all time favorite head lamp ever since my 1st backpacking trip with it. I even swam at night, (under water) wearing it and no problem. good thrower/flood combo.
I didn't understand before why you would want that style headlamp, but now I do and want one now. I especially love the option to turn it up toward the ceiling to give a diffused light.
Merry Christmas Flashlight Family!
🎅🎄🎁🎅🎄🎁🎅🎄🎁
I own an old T10 as part of EDC since years and still perfectly functional!
I like a wide beam on a headlamp as usually I am doing something close up when I wearing them. Also love having a headlamp when it is cold outside as I then don't have to freeze my hands holding and pointing a flashlight.
For walking at night with our dog, you cannot beat a good headlamp with adjustable angles!
I still have my precious TN4A from Thrunite. I treasure it the most because it was my first flashlight with more than 1000 lumens back then. It is still working just fine. I'm digging that TH30 V2.
Very good, concise description of headlamp uses. Thanks
I use a headlamp at work frequently. I can make a flashlight work, but a headlamp can make things much easier.
I think headlamp is a must when you need 2 hands and you need them most of the time. Also it's a good idea to have one headlamp in a car emergency kit, might come very handy for example when you have to replace flat tire when it's dark.
Love camping with my th30. Best tool to have
Lights like these are always useful!
If only I knew there were headlamps like this a few years ago. I spent many nights working on my car outside trying to balance a flashlight on random objects to get it to point the light where I needed it. Having a light on my head would have been so much easier lol
I've owned many flashlights over the years & not once did it ever occur to me that I should also have a headlamp. Your video made a lot of sense & it really woke me up. Having a headlamp is the wisest choice anyone can make, be it for your home, car, garage, toolroom, campsite etc. etc. You rely on a flashlight, why not rely on a headlamp as well? Why not both? It makes very good sense to me.
And finger gloves with flashlights
Working in a dark cellar or attic, these lights really great so you can use both arms. I've seen people hold a light in their mouth,
Headlamps are a must-have in power outages... keeps your hands free to do things like pick up the kids' toys you tripped on when the power went out initially... and you were going for your headlamp. On another note, buy several & distribute them in various locations so you don't have to go on a hunting expedition... ... ... you know, when the power goes out.
I love the Thrunite TH30 V2 , it would be very useful for my night trail running activities in the mountain , thanks for the chance :)
Wow those are cool looking 👀 I like the maximum brightness of the biggest flashlight 🔦 you have especially if it is rechargeable!
Awesome lights!
I’m all was searching for a high quality headlamp. I really need a big flood light to help locate blood while tracking. Thank you for this great video.
I have a standard type of headlamp but the 90° flashlight setup is very interesting. Two lights in one!
Thanks for the info.
Love a headlamp - great to see usb c!
Headlamps with BOA tightening systems are extremely usesful for outdoorsmen. When fly fishing for Steelhead in the fall on the Great Lakes tributaries the temps go from near zero to 60 within hours and we're constantly adjusting our headlamp bands as we add or remove layers on our heads. Constantly having to adjust a regular band really sucks when you have to switch from no hat to hat. I could see fitness runners having this problem too.
I really need a good headlamp! I love Thrunite, my TW20 is awesome!
I've got the Thrunite TH20 and the wowtac headlamp. They both are great headlamps
That looks pretty nice. I would like a magnet in the tail though.
The Thrunite TH30 headlamp is a great light! I have 2 lights, 1 and 2 versions. I love to take them with me for hiking, because I love when there is a lot of light! Some write that you need to make a headlamp on a 21700 battery. I don't think it's necessary to make headlamps larger than 18650 as they are already big and heavy enough to wear on the head. Headlamps with 21700 batteries are too big and heavy.
All of my Thrunite lights have been great... and I need a new headlamp 😁
Great features on the headlamp!
Love the explanations and comparisons! Thank you so much for the info!
HighCRI, WW and NW tinted headlamps are the best for wide variety of uses.
The Thrunite headlamps look far superior to the ones I've owned!
Great for those dark areas!
All very well explained. Good job!
Great headlamp review. Happy hands free New Years everyone!
I like TH30 v2.
another awesome video thank you thrunite merry Christmas to all
AHH FLASHY thing. I love your lights. TN12 2016 has been ol reliable
Great information as alsways! Thanks!
These are so handy & awesome.
Have a few ThruNite ...one of which is older model AA headlamp...Still works
I have the original TH30. I sewed the rubber mount onto a chunk of velcro and sewed the opposite velcro chunk to my hat. During the day I remove the light. When I tried the harness, it would creep upwards and off, so the velcro is a win for me.
I do like the offset in the V2 though. I might need to give it a go.
I like the smaller TH-02 for working in small spaces and appreciate the slightly lower weight. For that small weight difference I would prefer the TH-30 for outdoor work if I had one, for the larger battery and longer duration. I have had larger headlamps with the battery pack on the back; with two or more cells packing it all in front is just too much. It is more balanced split but far too bulky for work in tight spots. If I had to buy just one headlamp I would go with the TH-30 for the balance of size/weight and battery capacity. Another winner. BTW I like the recommendation to bounce the light off the ceiling.
Thanks for the overview. 😊👍
Nice job providing details
Great Vid guys , thanks !!!!
Never tried a 90° removable headlamp. Seems cool.
Thanks for the great info on your lights!!😁😁
Very helpful thanks.
Interesting, these are really helpful
Interesting design. I hope to win one.
I love the design!
Thanks for this video. You have now bought me some aspects of using headlamps that I newer thought about before! The TH30 V2 for example, seems to be a compact and handy heal amt that is easy to carry around.
Very thorough review!
NICE i have multiple thrunite lights as well as other common brands like Klaris and Finex Thrunite are the best for value and function out there
I would love a good headlamp like the TH30
I need to get a good headlamp, and that TT20. My dad has the Tt20, and it is a great light. Not too big.
Nice, very informative.
Great headlights!
Impressive!
Great video!
A good review. Don't have a 90o headlight at the moment. The Thrunites look great.
Merry Christmas 🤘🎅🤘
Very useful video.
always wanted one of these might have to pull the trigger
I love a good headlamp
Hello ThruNite, A very Merry Christmas to all! Headlights are w/o a doubt the most versatile of all lights! Hands free, what more can ya ask for? Thanks for this wonderful opportunity. Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 🙏😇👊
Great video, I have some headlights, they are very useful.
Thrunite is good.
great info
look cool
Have an "older" Thrunite TN12 and it's still working wonderfully. A headlamp would be very useful for winter outdoor activities, due to the shorter daytime light.
Ive been keeping an eye on the TH30 for caving, would love to see what it can do in combo with my other lights.
I've looked at several 18650 headlamps, and have yet to find something better than the TH30. Currently I have 3 of them. :) I added a magnet to the end of one of them, and it is surprisingly useful. If Thrunite made a Headlamp that took 21700 batteries, that would be awesome! Thanks Thrunite.
If u put the rubber mount on the top strap of the headband then u can use a standard flashlight as a headlamp
I have the TH20 and unfortunately lost the Archer v1, both are/were great.
Hope I take a win on this!
cool
I have a few traditional dedicated headlamps and haven't jumped into the handheld kind.
Very helpful - these headlamps seem much bigger than those I am used to using and I'm not sure how easy it is to get used the extra size and weight
I didn't have a hard time with the weight. If what you're using isn't bright enough, some of these are good. I have a Perun. I can use their med mode most of the time and have 14hrs run time.
I like how CZcams says this was uploaded 49 minutes ago but there are comments that were posted 12 days ago.
How hot do they get on high? Do they work over a stocking cap since I'm in a very cold area? You make great videos, I thank you!
Great video but I have a few questions: 1) on high does it get hot? 2) do you have a chart that shows how long the ThruNite headlamp lasts per level? I have several regular ThruNite flashlights, and the quality is fantastic.
Thrunite does light right!
I use headlamps when riding my bike at night
Noice
