@@heyholetstow the van is fun very different. Done 3 weekends on the run and another one next week as we are doing a MCC rally so can’t take the caravan to that. A couple of trips planned for the caravan through July n August and will be more in use over winter than the van

Agree with dual route plans... we have a sat nav app designed for trucks where you can put in the size of your unit....plus weight limits and width. Height and length... all useful.
We also look at the site on other vloggers vids..
When we do a site review i always try to do the entrance and the swing in.... as mentioned in our vlog. Some turn ins can be very tight.

Great vlog as always guys, some really good tips there. Ciska and I tend to leave the essentials in the van and then load up the rest on the morning of the trip.
Most of our stuff travels up in the car to be fair
Cheers guys, I always go through CZcams videos to see if anyone has done a arriving video on a certain site and if not google maps and google earth, and two satnavs, one of which is a hgv satnav , 👍.
We might need to do more arriving videos 😂

I would say checking the weather app is essential. We were on Anglesey two or three years ago and bad weather was forecast particularly high winds. Well 60mph winds were forecast overnight and as I was thinking it my good lady said ‘Shall we take the down?. Within 15 minutes we had dropped the canopy and just chucked it in the back of car. Just as well we did because the winds did hit that night and our canopy would have probably been home before we were 😂
Yeah. I heard someone recently had to get up in the night to secure an awning in the night. Strong gust of wind hit and picked them up and threw them in the air and were quite badly hurt. Awnings are dangerous 😀
The fridge will not get cold off the car battery..u have to get it cold off gas or electricity for 5 hrs before u travel..the car battery setting only keeps the fridge at the temperature its at when it at the point

Nice video. Hows the car clutch doing has it sorted it self out ?
Since it got looked at its been fine. Must do an update video on it.
Maybe it was just a sticky clutch pedal and they've lubricanted it and it's done the trip fingers crossed
