There is no such thing as failure only opportunities to learn and grow. You have got through the hardest year without relying on debt. That's a HUGE achievement. You maybe just need to reprioritise. Add in family fun money so you can enjoy life now. Maybe a holiday fund so you can have something to look forward to and maybe reduce the numbers of envelopes you stuff so you have a better sense of achievement when cash stuffing.
Love the mini savings challenges, finishing any challenge of any size will give you a massive boost.
Keep going, don't give up. Keeping consistent will provide progress. I know you can do it and you have a whole community to support you along the way 💕

You haven’t failed in any way, and I’m not sure if you felt that you have or not, but it was on my heart to share that with you.
Keep pressing on; when you have a hiccup, start over again. You are working towards financial freedom and changing the course for generations that come after you from what they will learn from your example.

I know exactly what you mean!! This is exactly where I was when I quit last May. I got very frustrated and down about trying SO hard and being SO disciplined yet seeing bo results ( except a few lower #s on CC balances). That's why after a few months of pondering, we made the decision that Disney had to happen. Paying debt is great, but what good is it if you're not enjoying life. We had to find a balance. Less to debt, but still a small snowball and more on Vacation and Family fun time. I can't tell you how much happier I am, just having something to look forward to. Our debt will take a few years longer but I'm willing to make the trade off. ❤ SO glad you are back.

Keep posting because I love watching you. You're very honest and when you've had a sh*t week, you say so. I admire your honesty. Regarding the debt, I know you said that it's a pita but just think how great it will be when it's paid off. I know it looks like a mountain (of debt) but the hardest part is the climb and probably will change your view towards credit in the future. You'll remember the hard work you put in to pay this off, keep going you're doing great.
Buying storage and organising is like therapy isn't it. Feels so good once it is done. I totally agree with you, sometimes you have to make sure you are living alongside working towards your money goals. Great video. Loving the mini challenge binder.

Aww Zoe I have been through same. I dont even know what it is but I have changed up my binders to help me alittle. It could be the weather or a bunch of other things. Take a break if you need to lovely, it will give you a chance to recoup. It feels good to splurge sometimes so please don't feel bad about your b&m spend. I spent 200 on etsy when I was down 😬
Hang in there, we are all here for you. I always remember that no bad phase lasts just like the good phase doesn't last and that helps me ride through 🩷

Would you not consider a debt plan?
I have considered it, but our credit score is finally getting good (hubby had an IVA about 9 years ago). The debt we have is now all on zero % and is manageable. I think I've just been super focused on overpaying each month to get it away quicker. And knowing our biggest debts are family debts is the worst bit. Xx
