Took me a few days to watch this, as I had to say goodnight to my 14 year old Jack Russel Mr Oliver on Thursday. We can be grieving buddies together. I found it useful to discuss all the positive memories about Oliver with my family. Like how he always steals cheese and can chase AND catch his tail, walking crab like to his bed

Aww zoe you've got me crying as well. As a cat family they're so amazing. We lost 1 18 months ago to cancer he only got diagnosed 2 weeks before his passing. It was so hard just before Christmas, we were so broken but time will get easier. And you'll enjoy talking about seb soon. Sending nothing but love and hugs to you and the whole family. Zo, didn't think I had any more tears left after Monday's news, how wrong was I after watching your video. Just want to remind you you did the right thing by poor Sebby. Poor wee soul was in agony. Like you all I miss him so much and typing this through tears. He had a wonderful life and a much loved home. He's out of pain now but certainly is still in our hearts and memories.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We had the same with our cat 10 years ago. He was 15 years old when he passed. My mum still has pictures up for him. I'm going to girls aloud in a few weeks. Not a massive fan but taking a friend.

I was almost in tears just at the normal vaccinations this week as one of my pets is 13yrs & 8 months and is getting quiet wobbly etc and I was trying to explain how she is. If you have pets they are such an integral part of any family you have. And their loss is huge. Be kind to yourself.

So sorry for your loss zoe i know how u feel i had to put my dog down end of march broke my heart he was nearly 16 he was in my life since he was 6 weeks old. U cry all u want they are family. I was the same felt so bad walking out and leaving him at the vets but i know we done the right thing for him. my dog was cremated aswell have him on my cabinet in my living room.
