Leese-Neville alternator, marks across the top where the bar light bracket sat, 140(?) certified speedometer- yeah, you're right- pretty much gives it away, though I've never heard of one that late with a 383 for a police application.I did once work on a '72 Polara , bought surplus from an NC police department as an unmarked radar interceptor, was a strange package - a 400 Magnum , everything in that engine was a 440 Six Pack from the crankshaft up including double valve springs - HD high upshift Torqueflite, certified speedometer and a 3.91 gear out back - to be as heavy as that car was, from a stop to 95 it would pin you to the seat.
I just Watched a couple more and i love you rescuing the old Mopars 👍👍👍👍👍✅✅✅✅✅
Like the 1971 Coronet Police Car!
I remember fixing those
383s in ‘71 were the Road runner motors. Both are great cars! Best of luck with it. Please post when you finish it.👍👍👍👍👍
I would make the 73 into a tribute police car and return the 71 into a period correct as it was on duty.
Got the drivetrain right here.. 😁
Those are cool be neat to se them run. Again.
Agreed.
My first car was a white '71 Coronet Police Car with 383HP. It was only 10 years old at the time and I got it running and drove it around a bit until I had the chance to trade it for a '66 Charger 383HP. The Coronet also had the 11" drums all the way around but didn't have the Leece-Neville alternator, I believe, and had a Holley Vac secondary carb from the factory and 3.23 gears with standard differential. The 727 in that car would downshift into first gear before you came to a stop, very aggressive feeling. I still don't know how they made that happen and I'm fluent in torqueflights.
My Summer Car game has that 1973 dodge coronet
I live right by the yard where your ‘71 was I’ve known Wayne for years, saved 2 cars from his yard and next I’m actually buying the white econoline that was right next to your car! Awesome video, cool to see others saving cars in Utah
Awesome. That will be a good save. They sure are a lot of work to get out of there though.
I got a '76 Valiant for about $150 out-of-pocket. Had been off the road for about 25-27 years, little old lady on the Tulalip Reservation parked it when the heater core & radiator started to fail. Cloning an A38 with some liberties including the 11.75" rotors, 4-speed iron-case OD trans, 8.75" rear, FFi steering & suspension, rear discs...
Reminded me of the 72 gold cornet and green 73 cornet my father had when I was a kid in the early to late 80s ! Can't wait to see what you do with this !
Never seen one. Thought I'd seen them all. Nice patina. Clear it and add some lights on top. Cool color.
Great cars, ❤️ the model taillights😎
Definitely make into a cop car! Those were fast in cop trim. In ‘71 they still had compression and a 400.
Good video mate , great cars . appreciate the intel on the build sheet
I hope that it helps someone.
Aaahh ya lucky bugger I love it my uncle had one when I was a kid I fell in love with it paint it white with white steel wheels and dog dish caps white letter tires your dam lucky 😁
Make it a cop car! So few of them exist any longer because of 80’s shows that destroyed most of them - thanks for sharing video, nice find
It was sold a while ago. Last I knew, he was going to build it to drive.
Being from Canada gotta say that thing is mint!
Awesome! it’s a sheep in wolfs clothing ! 4 door roadrunner
i would get a look underneath and take notes as to any boxing around the shackles and any other extras that made a heavy duty cop car
Definitely cool, especially the front seat. I would go police detective car. Unmarked, drivers side spot light, magnetic portable red slow roller for the roof and a push bar
I like 4 doors, I'm looking forward to see you fix it up!
reinforced seats, with shaved corners on backseat - very cool
I thought it looked different.
Great lines. Like a shrunk down 70 Polara.
It was ordered as a police package, then the dealership put the lites, spot and speedo and take the inside handles off the rear doors
The speedometer came from the factory. That’s the only way they could certified. Dealers never changed speedometers because that would be illegal.
@@MrWill73 Who told you that?
SWEET!!! I can see Sherrif Roscoe behind the wheel!!
God Bless
😎
Except that his was a Plymouth Fury
Oh, Logan, Utah! I bought a 71 D100 shortbed there once. I came all the way from Western Washington to get it, 800 miles. Came on a Greyhound, drove the truck home. Wish I still had it.
Nice. Its not a bad drive.
Definitely a cop car look 👌
Uncle Tony has a car like that
bottle rocket
Next time I'm in Utah, I'm gonna stop by.
I would restore both I love them cars
Jeremy, both finds are awesome but the 383 magnum is too cool dude 👍👍👍👍👍✅✅✅✅✅
I agree. It’s really cool
Early/mid seventies just before Starsky and Hutch hit the screen there was a short lived cop show called Chase. Featuring a white coronet squad car built up as a hot rod. See if you can find it. Maybe do a tribute car.
This bodystyle was mercilessly destroyed in countless TV shows and movies of the 1970s and 80s.
Mopar fleet services has brochures and info online on fleet orders
H.D. FRONT & REAR SEATS (maybe). Show me your build sheet collection!!
Photocopy thebuild sheet and sandwich the orig between plexiglass
Pure cop car gold back doors locked to keep perps in
Keep that Patina!!! Looks perfect the way she is. Maybe bump the driver fenderout
映画で見た、ポリスカ~ですねぇ今、見ても、カッコいいですねぇ、憧れましたねぇ、復活して、走る姿を拝見できる事を願ってます。👍😉✨🎶

You should sell it to me
Sadly due to the BABVVO laws from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned
from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the
Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas
station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel
pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in
the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems,
turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and
New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be
done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of
crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-(//=()=()=()=()=()
Really? Will have to read into this! Thanks for posting
Sell the 73 keep the 71
That's not a 71 looks like 1976 to 1978
That is 100% a 71 and absolutely not a 76-78
