I said I wanted rainbow soap last time and I was late and missed out. I need some this time. My rainbow baby was born just 6 seconds into the new year. The nations first baby of 2021! So I’d say it’s a necessity!
Awww, what a colorful and happy soap you created. I just LOVE 💗 them!! And, you knuckleheads who gave this video a thumbs down need to take your depressed little hineys elsewhere.
Holly, I love the new design, but I love, love, love the fact that you got out of your comfort zone and had sooooo much fun making this soap and that you told us that you did too. Home run hit...girl!!!!!
This soap is gorgeous. Greens seem to look strange to start with and it is a little nerve wracking when the fragrance oil turns things a little wonky too. It’s so nice when it comes back.
I was big into baking for years but I was the same way where I didn't really want to eat what I made, and my fiancé doesn't eat sweets so when I found soap making it was a lot of fun to transfer all the baking techniques I'd learned into my soapy creations
I never get bored watching your content hihi And it also inspired me to do drawing any fantasy creatures or fashion based on colors and patterns from the soaps 😊
Oh gosh this soap is stunning looking. I’d never get my grandchildren out of the tub if they had this soap lol. All kidding aside, the funfetti inside and on top of the bars, did you make it from soap scraps or is it purchased as is? It is awesome looking. Your expertise shows through as usual. You are doing what you were created to do and it shows in your enthusiasm for your creations. Take care Holly
I LOVE that you put a good old decent amount of fragrance in!! Some other soapers on CZcams don't seem to put as much as you do!! My daughter actually ordered me a couple of soaps from someone on here for my birthday last year, and I was SO excited to get them. It cost her a small fortune cos we're in New Zealand and these came from the States, and I was SO disappointed because they hardly had any smell at all!! I didn't let on to my daughter, of course, because it was so sweet of her to get them for me, but I just felt a bit sad about it. I know there are different levels of fragrance used depending on the recipe and all the other bits and bobs that go into working these things out, but I feel sure that your soaps smell delicious all the time!! I can just tell by looking at them lol ;) Love your videos, Holly!!
Too bad that there is no pm here on YT anymore, now I am curious who this soapmaker is. Holly, if you would read this, may I ask which percentage you use for fragrance oil, because here in Europe we are "only" allowed to use max 3%?
Hi Charlotte. I'm sorry that you had a disappointing experience like that. I use fragrance typically at 5% or less which is standard for us here in the US. The International Fragrance Association determines what fragrances and essential oils are safe for use and at what levels. Typically, that number is super high compared to what we actually use.
I just got this bar in the mail yesterday! I wanted a really refreshing and minty soap for the summer and working in a very hot & swampy kitchen🥵🥵🥵 and it is just what I needed!🙌 Love it! Thank you Holly!💚🧼💚🧼💚
Been watching for years...seldom comment but this is one of the prettiest soaps I have seen you make in awhile. Good job! I love to watch you work with your OCD which makes me feel better about working with mine. :)
OMG! I would have been having a heart attack with that color. I'm glad you knew what it was going to do. You're so close to 100K subscribers! I hope you hit it with this release:)
Gorgeous soap as usual, Holly! It sounds delightfully yummy 😋 💜 it's so crazy how that avocado looking green and sunny yellow come back to such a lovely mint shade and white!
I friggin love that! It’s really cool! Most ppl associate red n white with peppermint but peppermint is green so I always associated it with the color green. Beautiful job!
Holly, you said something at the 12:00 minute mark about deserts and treats. You make them and then you don't want to eat them. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE to bake. I will bake a sheet pan of sheet cookies and won't eat them. My roommates and husband will eat them. I will try ONE to make sure they came out OK but that's it. I totally relate to that comment. This might be thinking too much about the whole thing...I think it's because we want to make our loved ones happy! And food makes everyone happy :) What do I know? I'm weird! Thanks for the video!!!!!! Lovely as usual!
hey holly i love the video mint chip 🌈was so sweet and look so good and cute the colour 🎊are so sweet on top of that soap holly you done a good job on that soap will be any more 🌈soap video coming up holly i love to watching them take care holly love from Clare
Wow, I really had to use my imagination with this one! That yellow with the green, yikes!😱 But, of course you knew exactly what you were doing. Beautiful! Now I want cinnamon rolls though!🤣😂🤣
Flannel & Amber is so good! Just as an FYI, it was available with the last release. I have some Gone Wonky in stock and then it will be gone again for a while as I don't have anymore curing.
Our soaps in general are designed for overall body use provided the user doesn't have specific allergies or sensitivities to ingredients. However, a mint soap such as this may not be super ideal for sensitive areas due to the cooling effect from the mint. Some people love that effect but it can be bothersome to many.
I love your videos may i ask how do you find your measurements to make your soaps I'm interested in starting my soap business but don't know where to start
Thank you for loving the videos! How long have you been making soap? I recommend that you have at least a 1-2 years of making soap, experimenting, experiencing failures, time testing recipes, etc., before you start a business.
Can you tell me if it would be ok to put more than once ounce of fragrance to 1 pound of soap? I have made several small batches until I learn how to do it well. I use 1 ounce per pound, but it just barely smells, I don't want to overdo, but I do want the scent be a good noticeable smell. Can you advise Please. Enjoy watching your videos very much. Thanks
Thank you Sherry. Typically, we do 1 ounce per pound of oil. That is only if the IFRA for that particular fragrance allows for that amount. I personally would never add more that 1 ounce ppo.
I don’t know what is prettiest , the soap or enjoyng your sweet voice and the loves you put into your work, 😊
I said I wanted rainbow soap last time and I was late and missed out. I need some this time. My rainbow baby was born just 6 seconds into the new year. The nations first baby of 2021! So I’d say it’s a necessity!
Yayyyy I JUST commented on your short how much I missed your long videos! I am one happy girl! So good to see and hear you today Holly ❤
Yay-Holly’s back to entertain us. 99.3 and counting. I’ll be here too see it roll to 100. You go girl!

I’m going to be ready for the mini rainbow extravaganza this year!

Holly, I almost fell out of my chair when you said it was okay that it wasn’t straight! LOL!
I know right?!?! HAHA!
I never get bored watching your content hihi

Been watching for years...seldom comment but this is one of the prettiest soaps I have seen you make in awhile. Good job! I love to watch you work with your OCD which makes me feel better about working with mine. :)
Thank you Lisa!
So pretty! It reminds me of a peppermint bark candy.
Mmm...now that sounds yummy.
Didn't expect that avocado green to lighten so much. Honestly looks yummy.. now thinking about making cinnamon rolls.
I love your enthusiasm Holly, that bar is amazing to look at!!!
Sooo cute. Love the colors and little confetti 🎊

I friggin love that! It’s really cool! Most ppl associate red n white with peppermint but peppermint is green so I always associated it with the color green. Beautiful job!
Thank you bunches! I do make a red and white striped one at the holidays but this is a fun and a hint more authentic twist on mint.
Wow Holly, that is so beautiful, I love that green and the chips. 💚
Thank you!
Holly, you said something at the 12:00 minute mark about deserts and treats. You make them and then you don't want to eat them. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE to bake. Thanks for the video!!!!!! Lovely as usual!
Thank you! Yes, I do think that is one way we show love. I find that sugar is too 'sweet'. Haha! I like to have a little but not too much.
So pretty super cute little blocks love it. Thanks Holly. 💕

Your work room must smell amazing - fresh and crisp with that peppermint. Yummy 💖
Thank you Deborah! It's always a good day in the studio when I'm using peppermint.

All your soaps are beautiful, but I am 😍 this one! Great video, the zoom in on sprinkles was fun!

Wow, I really had to use my imagination with this one! That yellow with the green, yikes!😱 But, of course you knew exactly what you were doing. Beautiful! Now I want cinnamon rolls though!🤣😂🤣
Yep, it changed a lot! Thank you!
Fun fact! You can never have to much Rainbow 🌈 anything!
I would be losing my marbles if a fragrance did that to me. Lol. I was using my imagination but I couldn’t get past the green and yellow combo!
I am in love with the concept of this soap 😍🌈 You do such a spectacular job at mixing colors!
Thank you so much Beverly!
Your videos are so amazing, you are such a talented soaper.

Woo whoo Flannel and Amber! 🙌🙌🙌
Flannel & Amber is so good! Just as an FYI, it was available with the last release. I have some Gone Wonky in stock and then it will be gone again for a while as I don't have anymore curing.
@@moriversoap I purchased 5 bars of gone wonky. 😂
I don't like mint but this design is cute... I'm really going to have to keep myself from buying it!
Thank you Erika! It did turn out super cute.
Love this!! ❤
Beautiful 🤩
Thank you! I am actually going to be making this one again today.
@@moriversoap Awesome 🤩
Question : Are these soaps safe to use on your body ? Like dove soap bars ?
Our soaps in general are designed for overall body use provided the user doesn't have specific allergies or sensitivities to ingredients. However, a mint soap such as this may not be super ideal for sensitive areas due to the cooling effect from the mint. Some people love that effect but it can be bothersome to many.
Love it Holly! ❤️❤️💗💗
Thank you Jodi!
Super cute 🥰
Thank you Jennifer!
I can't believe it's 9 months since your Rainbow extravaganza!
I know! Time goes fast!
It’s always so fun to watch you make soap and hear your voice. May I ask if the lye solution was separated into 3 batches first before you use it?
Thank you! Each layer was a separate batch of soap. So I had separate lye for each one.
😍😍😍awesome 👏👏
Thank you Jill!
the chunky yellow glop reminded me of corn relish
Ha true!
Holly did you mix colors to get that red on the chips?
Why do you combine the 2 whites, and don’t just use the TD?
It reduces the likelihood of glycerin rivers.
I love your videos may i ask how do you find your measurements to make your soaps I'm interested in starting my soap business but don't know where to start

Does it smell like mint and chocolate hun?
🥰
Where did you get the funfetti from? Are they soap particles?
Yep, they're cut up soap.
I can close my eyes and smell this one soooo yummmy yum!!🌈🛀
That looks like Grinch or Oscar the grouch green
Lindo amei..
Thank you!
I’m shocked that morph reverted.
I was quite panicked the first time I used it for the holiday soaps.
May I ask why you added the Mica 1st??
With a single color soap, I mix it directly into the base oils. It just skips a step.
Is that melt and pour
Cold process soap
Hat happened to the neon yellow you poured in?
It was white. The FO discoloured it to yellow❤
Yes, the fragrance is what discolored it so dramatically but the yellow disappears.
Why do you add coconut milk?
I like to add a little bit of milk because it adds a creamy factor to the soaps.
What do you do with the wonky pieces?
And the little sliver sized pieces
I send most out as samples. We use the others.

Thanks!
Beautiful ❣
Thank you!
