I really miss the Spanish City ,spent many a day there during the school holidays and tapping the lads up when I was 16. The kids now will never know what it was like . All down to the council nobs putting the blocks on it. RIP SPANISH CITY.😕
North Tyneside Council have overseen the systematic decline of the region for decades, and still get away with it because 🤡's keep voting them back in... They have nothing to fear from the public as they know no-one else is going to be voted in.

Moved away from the North East about 20 years ago, to see you standing on the sea front Whitley Bay just down from my old house makes me warm inside , enjoyed all of the videos I've watched
@@connorking154 Depends which direction down the road is. I lived in Marine Gardens which is the same distance from the Spanish City as they are standing but going away from the sea front. House prices there are pretty standard.

You're literally two minutes walk away from the house I grew up in. Seeing home makes me want a chippy tea sat on the benches overlooking the beach. I see the dome hasn't had a repaint since I was there last year. I do enjoy your football content, but I'm also loving the tyneside history videos.

I’ve put on weight in the last six months while I’ve been off my feet with medical issues. Now that they are largely resolved I’ve got to lose it all again. It’s harder as you get older!

Hey Eddie, just an idea, I understand that it’s not formally ‘Tyneside’, but have you ever considered doing a video/documentary on Dave the Rave? Yeah, he’s from Sunderland, though he has been a Northeast legend for 30 years and can still be found in most shop doorways in Sunderland, MC-ing. Granted, you’d have to go into Sunderland, which isn’t ideal, but no pain, no gain, especially for some vital Northeast folk lore. 👍👍
