I started knitting last year and I've always used the knit on cast on method since that's what my mum taught me as she was teaching me to knit, and I could never quite get this hang of the long tail cast on. But this helped a lot, thank you! Also I'm currently knitting a vest using your pattern :)

Firstly, it is my very first time knitting, and instead of practicing of a little bit, I jumped straight on to knitting the sweater vest by watching one of your videos. I realized that I was using the wrong needle, so I started over. Moral is that I've figured it out and I need to watch your video throughly :") But, to answer the question, I was casting 90 stitches :) Now, I'm using needles with umm,...a wire attached to them? Hope that makes sense. Thank you for responding again, I highly appreciate it and love your videos!!!
hey mena a video that would really help would be the proper way to weave in ends in different stitches, not just garter stitch. i find that every video is how to do it in garter stitch and the other ones dont really explain it to well.

Ah yes, circular needles! Okay you are on the right track then (: (:
