Mata, actually Michał Matczak (born July 14, 2000 in Wrocław) - Polish rapper, singer and songwriter.
He is the son of Marcin Matczak, a law professor and Arletta Śliwińska-Matczak, who runs an English language school. In 2019, he passed the international high school diploma at the Secondary School No. 2 with Bilingual Departments. Stefan Batory in Warsaw (this school is also in the clip Patoreakcja)
He received the Varsovian of the Year 2019 award in the Warszawiaki competition. The creator of his artistic pseudonym was his father (Mata, a nickname from the surname), who made it up during their joint holidays in 2012. He supported his son in entering the music market and advised on the creation of the first song "Klub"
In October 2018, he released the concept album Fumar Mata (he was still in high school at the time), which was then released in April 2019 as a mini-album. On December 11, 2019, the video for his single "Patointeligencja" (a few months after graduating from high school) was published on CZcams via SBM Label. Polish Television, which is in the hands of the government, released material in which they attacked not only him but also his family, mainly his dad. That's why he released this song, in which he defends his family, saying "Mata senior (his dad) is a holy man", or literally "Fuck Polish TV". I've noticed that it sometimes translates the lyrics wrong, so it can be perceived a bit differently.

He's a really interesting boy honestly. In Patointeligencja, he openly told what is happening and what learning in private schools looks like. Pathology is not only in the ghetto. There was a lot of buzz in Poland after this song. His father is a famous lawyer in Poland. Polish media, as usual, lie and use people, probably as in all countries where there is "democracy". On the news channel, I could say that they even insulted him for it. His father had problems for it, but he understood and supported him. There is a reaction to all of this in Patoreakcja, and I am glad that someone is able to upset the journalistic servants of the government. I think it was worth describing in the comment.
