Could you please do a video on changing line textures or any other texture for that matter, to make it usable in all maps. I feel that would be very useful. That lime texture you've got there looks more like what it should be, and I'd love to have that texture in all my maps.
Lime - Plough - Direct Drill - Wait a month - Fert - Herb Spot Spray for a second = PF score 100%
And a big hit in yield from spot spraying
@@DisTurbedSimulations not at all in precision farming, yes in regular mode but yeild isn't effected with PF.
@dannygaming7960 I missed that you ploughed :)
Mulch?
@PaleriderGBR mulching doesn't effect environmental score only a small impact on yield
Thanks for the insight Scroft, v useful 😊
Excellent video. It would be interesting to see if you omit mulching and/or rolling to see if the yield actually reduces below the maximum. I am not so sure it will.
Enjoy all of your videos. Keep up the great work. Amazing content. Especially your Farm Hand series. Top Notch.
Thank you I really appreciate it!
Great video, nice to see you back doing testing videos
Thanks buddy, I enjoyed making it a nice change of pace!
that lime texture is awesome. used to work in a limestone mill very satisfying.

Does oilseed radish/other catch crops do anything for your nitrogen?
It doesn't seem like there's any way to disable the spot spray option to do the full spray, but you can take the sprayer to the shop and remove the spot spray attachment to do the full spray without needing a separate sprayer. Then just add the spot spray attachment back when you need to boost the weed score again, which is free as you already own it.
Thanks Scroft
Easy technique for CONSOLE players.
Plow method = Mulch / Plow / Lime / Direct Seed / Wait month or two / JD spot spray herb for a second or two / Fert (with sensor ON)
No Plow method = Mulch / Direct Seed / Lime / Spray Herb over entire field (lime first makes this easier for console) / Wait month or two / JD spot spray herb for a second or two / Fert (with sensor ON)
I can't think I've ever taken a hit on the yield using the spot sprayer, though grass fields often have a potential of 125% and settle at 123% expected.
hey scroft I see you did the lime texture change do you have a video how you do that?
Any update on fairhead scroft ?
What happens if you let the weed grow til they're small and then spot spray the whole field instead of applying herbicide full strength?
My only question is if your just going to cheese the game by just touching the edge of the field with the spot spray why even use precision farming at all?
My precision farming scores only have total and Line bars. I can't seem to zoom in enough to see individual scores for each section. On court farms pc. Anyone had thiss and know how to change it?
You muste be in the precission farming tab, in the first section (before ph and nitrogen) Zoom in and there it is.
👍
What happens to your score of you have weeds turned off. Can you still achieve a perfect score?
i just mulch, direct seed, lime, fert, weeder, roll. no weeds and 100%
I agree with the order, unless your field is in a "needs plowing" state. If it is, just plow and then do the exact order you did, except for the step where you spray herbicide (because no weeds since you plowed). The game will give you full tillage score for direct seeding no matter what you did with the field before that.
I personally plow every time, but I'm using the Lizard 9MT most often, so it's a multitude faster than with a regular plow of course
The "Precision Farming DLC" i don't use at all, like most farmers in real life do to, in fact that is why they strike now, politics who mingles in farmers affairs.
I am in that sector but i never seen somone use this stuff to messure your soil state.
The EU wants that we do that, that is why they sponssored that DLC for fs22.
I think the spot sprayer is environmentally friendly because if farmers are using 90% less chemicals there is 90% less demand for them and so chemical plants that make fertiliser produce way less pollution, the hand weeder is still eco friendly it's just not as much because pretty much all none-organic farmers spray their fields to some degree irl so it would make a massive impact rather then just reducing the passes over a field by 1 time
