#Iceland #Volcano #VolcanicEruption
Props to whoever was controlling the camera for zooming in so quickly on the eruption as it starts!
The footage is from ‘Life from Iceland’🔥
Icelandic news channel, prob been waiting for it for the last month lol
Actually, Live from Iceland moved the camera in that position just a minute before it blew because of a ‘gut feeling’. I watched it live and it was absolutely amazing!
@@Brittoezz Its a shame it was a bit out of focus in parts, but you can clearly see the lava actually bursting through the ground, amazing!
It was zoomed in a lot. The camera has to adjust to that.
That's amazing how beautiful the nature be. Hope the people stay save in Iceland.
Mother nature changing her wardrobe.
THAT ZOOM THO!!!!!
I know right? Was that a P900 or P1000 or something?
@@poopremlapthere are webcams from local news stations. There is always a person working in the news station on the webcams, ready for momenys like this
Just Earth reminding us that it's in charge
for me, watching volcanic eruption reminds me of how small we really are.
Fire and Ice blending together... so amazing!💜❤💯🤩
Seeing this in crisp HD is insane; all the lava particles flying off! 😮
Wow! Great job zoom guy! Thanks that was amazing
I am going to Iceland in may
Earth showing us how to release tons of CO2 in just a few minutes
Thousands of tons...Kiloton Megafun! 😀
Could all that Co2 build up in the air flow of the northern pole cause a melting of ice sheets & raise ocean levels
@Edward-6909 Over a year, yes. Over a decade? No. The earth, oceans, and trees absorb so much co2 that if humans weren't producing any except that we exhale, nature (even in its heavily damaged state) would be able to compensate. But that's not all we produce. A human's carbon footprint over their entire life is equal to 1.2 seconds of global energy production. That isn't what you'd save by cutting down. That's what you'd save by never being born.
But we The Public get blamed for the environment like _we individually_ chose to build a diamond mine in a nature reserve.
It's actually sulpher dioxide that comes from volcanos
Thanks! Too little at the beginning of the video.
That is wild 🌋
Volcano : I identify as a pimple.
Beautiful, awesome! Like a whale blowing off a jet of water....
Almost looks like a sunrise
We need all the light 💡 we could get in this world of darkness. 🙏🏼

I have tried to line up the video and the fissure map from the Icelandic Met Office on Google Earth to find the exact location of the first vent. If anyone wants to have a look at the location on Google Earth it should be at about 63°53'34.46"N 22°21'52.25"W as far as i can tell, just near the semi-circular crater.
Already, it looks to be a great eruption.😃

Who was filming the “moment” it exploded?
That was the ‘Life from Iceland’ YT cameraman.
That’s where the footage is from. He moved his camera position just a minute before it blew in that direction because of a ‘gut feeling’. I saw it live and it was a really magical snd amazing moment.

Once again, we are being humbled by Mother Earth. Not to do so is at your own peril. The rich and powerful, take note.

I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "finally, it has erupted." i'm nota kidding...
600mm lens?
You have to ask ‘ Live from Island’ YT that’s where the footage comes from.
Mother Nature must’ve ate Taco Bell
The only factual things the guardian can report have to be live hahaha
what a beautiful the world of man you hurt mother earth look what you done
It is coming!
So why didn't they put in the name of the area that is erupting, just Reykjanes peninsula... that is a much larger area.
Guess they are scared of the pronounciation 😅
This eruption is at Sundhnjúkagígar - or Sundhnjúkagígaröð... I prefer the latter one, it is even complex for some Icelanders 🤣
Some of the other CZcams videos show detailed maps of the fissure that is erupting. Search CZcams for "Iceland Volcano" and limit the search to the past 24 hours.
Icelandic names genuinely look like gibberish
@@N3gativeR3FLUX Icelandic names are actually pretty "straight forward" - if you know Icelandic or Old Norse (the language of the Vikings, which Icelandic is derived from). The Icelandic language has not evolved much through the centuries, we still can read books written in ca 1250 or so. The famous eruption of 2010 was in Eyjafjallajökull but that name is actually 3 words combined into one: eyja (island) fjalla (mountains) jökull (glacier). So it is basically named Islandmountainsglacier 😉
Thats mordor!
