- The Jaguar internship lasts 9 weeks. It trains non-commissioned officers and officers in planning and conducting section-level operations in the equatorial forest. The AMF (forest monitor assistant) course lasts 7 weeks. It is reserved for legionnaires only.

For those who don’t understand, they are not legionnaires. It’s a course for soldiers from all armies
Even though It looks like this is something all legionnaries have to go through. Not sure but it looks that way
The Jaguar course is run by the French Foreign Legion for soldiers from around the world to certify and then train their own units.
I went through the the US jungle warfare course in Fort Sherman Panama. That was a 3 week course. This legionnaire course looks much more difficult. Especially with everyone speaking different languages.

Ese entrenamiento lo hacemos haca en Colombia como soldado Razo cuando se presta el servicio militar obligatorio y se hace en ocasiones con fuego real y son tres meses de arduo entrenamiento y luego a patrullar y poner en práctica lo aprendido en los entrenamientos y con mucho dolor en ocasiones se pierden vidas pero está es Colombia con los mejores soldados del mundo

Interesting but is this lost in translation! For be it from Belgium, Japan or Senegal etc Legionnaires fight for France not the countries they come from; that is why they are called the French Foreign Legion!! Or was the Legion here training other nations' commandos?

Some questionable firing techniques in use here, especially for “elite” forces, on camera and in the public eye, casually firing from the hip doesn’t look great, especially when the exercise corodination staff don’t agree either.

u can see the poor communication and poor tactics. LOT'S OF WEAPONS FLAGGING muzzles were everywhere SOME SERIOUS ALEC BALDWIN action. but I understand they weren't a well-trained unit that knew each other. it's a universal jungle leadership course sort of like their version of Ranger school.
