Can you use the gelly tips on dipping powder or is it just for gel ?
Honestly you are a real MVP for putting links to the UK in your description box so many nail vids are from American youtubers it’s so hard to find items they mentioned sometimes.
NIA Jones I am currently wearing the gelly tips with a layer of dip wider over them (mostly for strength) and while it sticks, I have noticed that when I file off my gel polish gel to change colours, there are little cracks around the sides of my nails in the dip powder.

I finally bought this kit after thinking about it for months- like you said in your last vid, doing these nails def requires a learning curve type of mentality 👍 my first set, although flawed, turned out super cute ☺️ the hardest part seemed to be shaping the tips to fit my thumbs bc I have weird thumbs, but overall this kit is AMAZING and 10/10 recommend. I hope they come out with even shorter nail designs in the future because the medium size is actually still VERY long. Great vid🧡🧡
Ahhhhh I love using tip cutters for taking off length for removal!! So much easier than using nail clippers and hoping the extension doesnt fracture down over your natural nail.
I just do it niceeee and gently. ☺️

If you wait a bit before curing the polish will level itself out and become smoother. Also no need to buff the white, just float your top coat and it’ll hide it!
I need these purple remover clips! Looks a lot easier than wrapping foil with one hand 😂
I had them and found it was WAY harder to do anything with them on. I like to use my phone while I wait (I have a pen with a soft tip that works on touch screens) and couldn't pick anything up with those things on. Just my personal experience (suppose I could have done one hand at a time but just want to get the removal process done with).

How long on average does it take you to do a full set of dip nails ?
Mmm I'd say around 1.5 hrs for both hands.
You can also use your equate steamer to remove them 💕

I just watched all your tutorials on different at home nail extensions and I was wondering which method you prefer? What is easiest to a beginner, which is the least damaging to your natural nails and which ones last the longest? I want to try it out for myself but just curious on which method would be best to start with!
The easiest would probably be builder gel and Half cover nail tips, if if you’re able to paint your nails with regular nail polish you can do this. it’s super simple and if you prep properly and use a dehydrator and primer for nails can last three weeks easily

Can anyone help me with what I’m doing wrong with my polygel? On most of my nails I can’t get the dual form to sit flat on my cuticle areas and the free edge side at the same time. So on a lot of my nails I settle and put the cuticle side down nice so then at the ends there’s a gap between the gel nail and my natural nail. Is it something I’m doing or is there a brand or better fitting dual forms I can get? I don’t have this problem with every single nail but just a lot of them.
Is the flash cure light good enough on its own or should I buy a bigger one for my nails to last longer and for the polish to cure better ?

Have you had any health issues with the skin around your nails? I just got an LED nail light and I've been reading online about the damage they cause. Going to the salon is not an option for me, so I wanted to give it a try at home, but I'd like to hear from someone who has more experience doing her own nails this way.

How many times can you do a ‘Fill’ from the initial or original / first belly tips application before you completely remove them and do a brand new set of tips ?
I've been having the absolute hardest time getting the builder gel off. I file all the way to the tip before soaking but only the gelly tip dissolves and the builder gel stays put even if I soak longer. I keep ending up just filling it down. Any advice?
You're probably using hard gel which is a gel that does not soak off you have to file it off

Are you able to trim down the length of the Kiara Sky Gelly tips? Even their medium length will not save me from gauging my eyes when trying to remove my contacts.
Yep! You can shape them and file them down to your desired length. If you haven't already, check out my first gelly tips video, I trimmed mine down a bit too. ☺️
