Non Convertible Debentures in Tamil/தமிழ் (2019)
Some of the debentures are termed as convertible debentures since they can be converted into equity share on maturity. A Non - Convertible debenture or NCD do not have the option of conversion into shares and on maturity, the principal amount along with accumulated interest is paid to the holder of the instrument.

Hi Karthi, in the advt. itself, Company has to specify it is ncd or CD. Generally, it will be ncd only, which means, till maturity it will be non convertible only, it is generally secured by the assets of the company, thereby ncd holders are called ",creditors " of the company and stand priority on par with other financial lenders like etc. Of course, if the bank extends unsecured loans, it not secured.
