Basildon on the C2C network is a post-war town that I've never been to, so I decided to take a circular walk around it, exploring local parks, quiet woodlands, and a ruined well.
Enjoyed the video, your walk brought back many good memories of the parks and surrounding countryside. I lived in Basildon for a short time and found the people who lived there very friendly. It has more to offer than most people say and is a better place to live than a great many other towns in the UK
Nice greenery but it’s a sketchy place overall. I wouldn’t feel safe going to these green parts around basildon due to the high violent crime rates. I’m old fashioned so all I see in new towns is what used to be countryside and i get sad
