Alot of these so-called bishops and many others was living sinful life styles and they were never changed, they also were cowards, they did not stand on the wall and show the people their transgressions, sins aand iniquities...They failed to take heed to what Bishop Earl Carter preached at that convocation...Lord have mercy .....
You right. I think it may be more of being a coward to admit that they are human and mess up. By the time they realize they are still imperfect humans, the products of their sinful/immoral acts could very well be well adjusted adults with better moral character who have tried to help that parent do better and just be accountable, honest and genuinely sorry for messing up.

Your uncle was a true example of what a leader supposed to be.I was under his leadership for 13 years and I must say he was nothing short of a spiritual/priestly father even in his old age.He brought out the best in so many people including myself even during my worst.I praise God for being under Bishop Lee Ward.
