- Here's fabulous Ford and marvellous Mabel in this early Mack Sennett directed short. A great example of Ford doing his physical & facial gymnastics, as well as devious Charles Inslee, Hank Mann as a henchman, party guest Mack Swain and the Keystone Cops (see if you can spot Edgar Kennedy). This is a restored version of my little UK 8mm print, which shows how good some small gauge prints can be. Enjoy!

Great romantic comedy, a real blockbuster of the times.
Impressive film, thanks, Dave!
Staten Island girl Mabel Normand. I believe she lived on Drumgoole Ave., not far from where I grew up. Probably the most famous person ever from my home town. Either her or baseball player Bobby Thompson, but Mabel was famous all over the world and Bobby Thompson only in the US.
An early example of Keystone slapstick comedy with Mabel Normand and Ford Sterling. Like this one the best.😊
Thanks Jeff!
FANTASTIC quality, thank you for posting!!
Thanks Omar!
If this leads to a Ford Sterling DVD, I will be the happiest girl on CZcams. I adore Ford Sterling.
Excellent quality! I've been hoping to see this short restored and now I have. Thanks!
Thanks JJ.
The scene at 8:21 with the villain and the raging fire in the background is the same as scenes with the Joker today and his destruction in the background.
this was funny. after the first 11 minutes
