That’s a great question. I don’t think it would be too difficult actually. If you are in a country where you can order them it seems like it would be just as cheap to just order instead of making them (considering the time it would take). That being said, they are made from bamboo with some type of metal pellets. The skin could just be cut and dried on there and the rope would be a sort of string you could get from a gabby shop. I imagine they could be made from PVC pretty cheaply.
