  • Here is a cool place we found by accident. We were at a bar in Bethlehem, PA that just so happened to be connected to a cool mini-mall!, SCORE!!

Cool, unique style to the gray/black interiors of this smaller mall, thanks RRR. 11 PM at night and still open to walk through, that is cool. Glad to hear the restaurant was good too, thanks. Nice Mule statue there.

Wow, what a cool mini mall with a.great mix of tenants. Love the Woolworth building. I remember when I was a little kid in the mid 70's and my mom would take me to Woolworth and buy me chocolate cigarettes. 😂

I just looked at the store listings online. I can’t believe how wide range the shops are. This is awesome!!!

This is what is was to “go shopping” back in the day where all the stores were downtown or wherever the county buildings were. 5&10s, fancy shops, jewelers, professional offices. Then malls ruined that, now malls are facing the same hell that downtowns went through decades ago.

Holy cow! A spy shop! That’s like getting the Johnson Smith catalogs in the mail!!! I wonder what the rent is for these stores? I have seen places like this (similar to the original “arcade shops), but now they are usually full of law offices or realtors, blah….

Nice! Some of these mini-malls are easily overlooked. Did you get a chance to visit the ones in downtown Lancaster? I mentioned three before, but only two still exist. The Hagar building is currently being renovated, and the interior walkway has recently been removed. The Central Market Mall (44 N Queen) and Place Marie next door are still there. A friend of mine owns the children’s bookstore Nook Books at Place Marie.

I do remember your suggestions, but we haven't made it back to Lancaster in a little while. Fingers crossed this summer!
