I think this sketch is my favorite so far. So classic yet so modern. It talks about the latest trends like NPC, tiktoks, getting an online therapy. But at the same time it also feels nostalgic, as if Ian and Anthony never stopped doing this. Especially the cop and the doll getting thrown out of the window. It takes us back to the good old days of 2010s. Great job guys

This is the best new Smosh skit yet. The skits where Anthony was the weirdo and Ian was the “normal” one were always my favorite for some reason. Like “Anthony is Mexican.” But I get why they stuck more with the opposite while Anthony warmed up again since he hadn’t acted in a long time compared to Ian.

This is by farrrrr the best 2023 smosh skit so far! loved the other ones, but this is the funniest one so far. Felt sooo classic yet modern at the same time.
I like how they are slowly bringing the new/old cast into the videos again. First Shayne and Courtney were in voice-over and now Courtney is on screen lol. I hope they can find a good balance between the cast that has been holding the channel up for years and this new style.
You like that? The new cast is what ruined the channel in the first place. They weren’t holding the channel up; the channel has been actively dying since they were brought on board.

That still doesn’t take away from the fact that the channel started to decline as soon as the new cast members showed up. This is quantifiable. Anthony even admitted that the work environment started to get restrictive and kinda toxic around 2015 when the new cast members started to show up.
The videos became too much like short films. Too much like official productions. The production quality went up but the views dropped. It’s not an opinion.
@@triple7marc They didn't ruin the channel, DEFY ruined the channel, and Rhett and Link were left to clean up DEFY's mess, and they had to make do with what they had (which didn't include Anthony at the time).
This was definitely the best sketch so far of this new era

At first I thought their new stuff wasn't as good as the old ones, but then I remembered I only have the goated skits in my mind, so it was a flawed way of making comparisons.
All of the new vids are good, but this one's definitely in a tier above, and could easily be put in future Smosh compilations.
