- There are 23 skills in Old School Runescape. I bet you can count on one hand the amount of skillcapes that have good perks. Well, we're here to try and fix that. In this part we get from Attack all the way to Crafting (top to bottom, left to right in the skills menu) and in Part 2 we will tackle the rest, plus some of the other capes.

Community Question: How would you change a skill cape? (Of the first 13 we talk about)
Damage reduction makes perfect sense for a defence cape perk!
I love Oxie's take on the prayer cape, I would like the prayer cape to just add the bone crusher and ash sanctifier or make it so both items no longer require any charges. Another idea would be it having the same effect as the HP cape but it cutting the prayer drain by X%
Edit: My first idea was way too OP and the Herblore cape debate was an inkling to change that. It was making prayer potions half (6) dose instead of (4) or making it so it you have an X% change to not consume the prayer dose you drank
Herblore cape should give 2 things-
1.Every potion you make is guaranteed 4 dose (permanent ammy of chem.)
2.Every potion YOU PERSONALLY make, gets a 5% boosted effect - these will be untradeable
(Because you have perfected making potions, your potions are better than anyone else's you can buy)
Perfect reason to train post 99.
Attack - can't roll a 0 is good and special attack bar has a total of 110% instead
Strength - +4 Strength bonus
Defence - 10% Damage Reduction
Ranged - Range Str Bonus +2 and holds 1 Type Of Ammo
Prayer- Combine Ash Sanctifier or Bonecrushr not both and prayer restoring potions restore 10% more prayer.
Magic - No timer on home teleports across spell books and turn the books from.the lighthouse library into mini spellbooks and can customise each with 3 spells.
Runecrafting - teleports to all altars and 10% chance of an essence not being used.
Construction - access POh from all portals
HP - I like the food over healing
Agility - unlimited run energy not in combat, once in combat drains like normal.
Herblore- all potions made are 4 dose
Thieving - all theiving activities have a 20% chance of being more successful.
Crafting - either slots in your cape for 4 different pieces of jewellery which one charges run out disappear or make your own mini jewellery box which goes om your inventory
I would love the herblore cape to have a +10% chance to make a 4 dose pot instead of a 3 dose pot(stackable with the chemistry necklace) and a 5% chance to not consume the final dose of a potion(only while wearing the cape)

Not an answer to the community Q but I've got a fun question suggestion:
If runescape was ever adapted for a movie or TV series, what do you think the plot would be and what are some must have Easter eggs or references for the adaptation?

Michael I think you were thinking of “tremendous” being generally positive, not “massive” also Oxie, Michael said the potions would be stored IN the cape, so I’m assuming you’d still have to waste time right clicking the cape and selecting the potions you want to withdraw before getting the potions out. I’m imagining like an interface similar to a rune pouch or something. Would still be broken, but you wouldn’t be able to just pull the potions out mid-combat

I liked what you guys said about the herby cape just because I like when Daddy and Pappa argue. For the love of God, please don't make the bingo skill tile herby, that would be a dirty joke since all pots will already be made up BEFORE BINGO!
You could avoid the Giga-broken max cape by making the max cape not have all perks and instead be able to add up to 3-5 skillcapes to it
