    POWER OUTPUT
    LOW/MEDIUM/HIGH
    144.000 MHz - 10 watt / 25 watt / 60 watt
    146.460 MHz - 10 watt / 25 watt / 70 watt
    147.450 MHz - 10 watt / 25 watt / 70 watt
    151.820 MHz - 10 watt / 20 watt / 70 watt
    SWR
    144.000 MHz - 1.0 or just above 1.1 SWR
    144.500 MHz - 1.0 or 1.05:1 SWR
    145.670 MHz - 1.0 or 1.05 or 1.1 nearly perfect
    146.460 MHz - 1.0 or just above 1:1 SWR
    147.450 MHz - 1.15 or 1.2:1 SWR
    148.000 MHz - 1.1 SWR
151.820 MHz - 1.4 SWR, maybe 1.5 - still very good for MURS channel 1
    151.940 MHz - 1.4 - 1.5 SWR - MURS CH 3
154.600 MHz - 1.5 SWR, still very useable 1.5:1 SWR is very good
So this antenna provides performance 1.5:1 SWR VSWR or better from 144 MHz - 155 MHz covering the entire 2 meter amateur band 2m mobile antenna options 144MHz band 1/4 wave 1/2 wave 5/8 wave 144-148 MHz the SWR never goes above 1.2 which is about as close to perfection as you can want. For large chunks of 2m it’s 1.1 to 1 SWR or even 1:1 perfect match. Full power output 60 watts to 70 watts depending on frequency, solid 60w across the band, 65-70 watts 70w from 146 MHz up to the top of 2 meters 148.0 MHz. 70w output on 150 MHz band 151-155 MHz low power 10 watts consistently and medium power 25w consistently. Medium power dropped a bit on 154.600 MHz and 154.570 MHz MURS channel 5 and MURS channel 4 but it was still closer to 25 watt than 20 watt.

    Interesting that you did this.
I have a RETEVIS RT9000D UHF and a VHF. At the radio club QSO every Monday evening they all say that the modulation is powerful and clear. And I just set it to "low".
With a good antenna and position, the transmission range should be very good.

Sorry... I forgot to say that I'm a newbie ham here in Brussels Belgium and see UHF/VHF as a good local radio, specially if there's an emergency.

Nice radio but LOUSY receive audio from that tiny speaker. Just too much base, rolled off, muffled sounding audio. I wired up an external Motorola Maratrac speaker and the radio is now fully useable with crisp audio. The radio in this case is being used as a base station with a rooftop antenna. I guess for the price it seems worth it.
