u can buy charging box for your solar watches. its basically a box with led light that u turn on & u place your watches in the box for them to charge. i think that is a better alternative to those window films.
I used to not like G-Shock as a watch I'd wear. It's big, clunky, digital, not mechanical (yeah I was a snob). But then the pandemic hit, and your usual watch won't cut especially when you're working at a quite contagious places. So I start to look at watches that I can literally dip inside a bucket of water and then scrub it hard with toothbrush and soap. And here I am already bought 2 G-Shocks since the start of this pandemic. GW-B5600 for your daily rigor, and GST-B400 for a more formal occasion
*_I implement bar soap, hand soap, or dish washing liquid and a toothbrush with water. My other method when the time piece isn't that dirty, is to take a damp cloth and wipe it off._* *_One thing I can't fathom to save my life is why a vast majority of Ebay sellers won't clean their pre-owned watches prior to listing them. I can't count on all of our fingers & toes the copious listings of watches with dead skin and dirt caked on them from neglect of cleaning._*
You won't really notice the difference on modern G-Shocks but the best way to tell the difference is to see whether the water resistance value is in bar or meters on the face.
i bought a complete new casio g shock gw5000 from a top seller on ebay. It was new and all, but i discovered a dust/particle inside the watch crystal. Is that something wrong with it as its a dustproof watch..? will it go on casio warranty and will i get it replaced?
Was there a Warranty Card. Usually, the warranty is only for 1 year. I had a Riseman with a tiny hair in it also. I think it's just something careless happening at the factory. There's no need to open a case on a Solar/Atomic G-Shock but that doesn't mean that the previous buyer didn't open it for some reason only they know about.
*_The GW-6900 is Tough Solar and Atomic/Wave Ceptor (Multi Band 6). Its module is also different than the G-6900. I've seen reviews of the G-6900 and GW-6900 and the G-6900 is actually more sophisticated in its functions & mode selections than the GW-6900. I want both. I just bought a DW-9052.The old school G-Shocks have been on my radar._*

How often did you find a leaked battery yourself in a G shock?
I guess this advice would work well for the F91w collector and other cheap Casio collector!
Knuckles the Echidna You should be careful when you change the battery because it can loose water resistance properties.

G6900 doesn't have the Atomic time keeping which is perfect for me but the prices are almost the same... So I ordered the GW6900
