    I enjoyed taking this. I suspect the verb types are covered in British schools more so than American. I've always been a very attentive language student and never heard of "inchoate" or "modal" verbs in my schooling. Stative and (di) transitive are intuitive enough.

    I did very well in almost all aspects except Verbs! I miserably failed 4 points in Verbs. Please do more on these aspects so we could practice more and be well versed. Thank you and more power.

      I don't recall ANY specific types of verbs except a few years after college I heard of transitive! Never heard of the others. So I looked at the root word of the word describing the purpose of the verbs and managed to get 6/9. Got everything else 100. My mother was our well educated grammar Nazi!! 🤣🤣

    It’s been decades since middle school English grammar are sentence diagramming. But even then, never heard of these verb labels.

    -What is inchoative verb?
    -When hard or hardly Q I didn't expect that... In my mind: hard is an adjective and hardly is an adverb...and Then the verb is followed by an adverb and otherwise followed by an adjective

    I got everything right except the questions about verb types (I did answer the one about the 's' in the 3rd person for modal verbs, though).
    We never heard about those verb types in our English lessons in Italy,
    I really don't understand what all the different types are, but I hope I still can use them correctly.

    Flying on a broom nearly every day, it was easy to recognize this object at least ... But all jokes aside: I guessed the correct names of all objects, although in many cases I din't really know them!

    37/44. I think I did well considering that I didn’t know about the kind of verbs. I’d never heard of them and they were quite confusing to me. Everything else is almost perfect. Thank you for making this quiz, I really appreciate your effort 😊🎉

    I could not do the verbs at all, I'm Indian and we never learnt those at school. I can't really remember categories like these either, I find them useless. The rest of the test was perfect though.

    Lousy at remembering the different types of verbs, but used logic to see what the root word of the verb description was...so, got 6/9 on verbs. Got everything else correct.

    homophones test is ineffective for non-native speakers, either you know it or nothing comes to mind at all and random pick your answer. also verb-type test is not a kind of quiz for non-native speakers, I guess.
