I missed this whole conversation! I didn’t want to poke too hard at charles but I can see how broken he is and he’s fragile.
This conversation caught me by surprise, I had no clue how rare the convo was for people but I am very curious to see what the outcome is for being honest to Charles. I was scared as well for his reaction but everything went well luckily.

this torn me apart honestly. its glad to see charles talk to sean about his abuse towards chris, that makes him a better person and give trust to people. just know that even if its only a game, it happens in real life too.
Yea, I completely agree. It’s hard for me to forgive people who hurt children but Charles definitely seems to be changing in this scene.

That was actually pretty wholesome and understanding, but at the end when Chris was doing his little superhero run away, his dad looked intent in the car, like he was about a freaking Deja Vu his child

This makes you realize Charles isn't a bad person, but the pain of losing his wife made him take some bad choices and became an alcoholic abuser.

@@annalysethevexedvixen I don't think it's enabling but rather understanding. Charles' actions are inexcusable, no doubt, but you can understand that he isn't inherently a bad person. Just hurt, and unfortunately, hurt people hurt people.

@@kunevil6688 I agree. They wouldn't hesitate to put a 16 yr old boy in jail (15 years sentence mind you) for an alleged self defense against a cop who killed his dad. I don't think they'd take ligthly to them 'kidnapping' a cacuasian kid from his distraught father.

Anyway this has no real impact at the good ending, I think he does better on his own anyway, he realizes he's been failing as a parent when he sees seand and daniel, I know because at a later point in the game I read some letter where chris says he and his father are getting alone much better and that he no longer loses it, and I didn't get this conversation
Some people just get a hard time trying to understand the damage they do to themselves and the ones they love until someone outside their circle points it out, it's completely natural and one of the many flaws of human mind, but the sole reason of wanting and actively trying to change is what separates monsters from people who were done dirty in life and didn't had the will to overcome it

The fact that I relate to Chris is scary 😭
I wrote a story that they ended up in Mexico. stuck max and Chloe saved Rachel. they go through investigation to save Sean from prison by proving his innocent. (All become best friends Sean ends up being related to Rachel) And him and Layla get married have kids 4 2 sets of twins. 2 boy twins 2 girl twins. And his little brother marrys Chris. They all grow up happy living in Mexico. Max Rachel and Cloe live in Arcadia Bay. Rachel ends up with max and Cloe there a poly family! Loving exchanger max raises the kids while Cloe is a tat artist also comes and helps on nights off. Rachel is a singer and sees her family as much as she can. Max is stay at home mom but also a family photographer . Each have kids together. (Boys at the same time)nd Daniel has Layla be a surrogate. And they have a boy and girl. They all do bbqs and holidays and keeps in contact offten.

There’s 4 different endings you can get, one is where they both get to Mexico safe and Alive! It’s very hard to get that ending tho, instead of doing good things, you have to do bad things🤨

Holy hell that voice acting....my God. Let's be honest, this LIS game has the worst voice acting compared to all of the other LIS games, and Daniel sure as hell doesn't help.
I think the voice acting is pretty good for everyone especially Daniel. Criticisms for Sean and some other minor characters would make sense.
