Oh my god those harmonics after 3:44 are just magnificent! So bright, so clear, so strong!
flawless intonation too
Brighter than my future
My favorite interpretation. His accented phrasing and bow control is absolutely masterful.
he played this amazingly!
Credit also to the pianist, he is absolutely in sync with the performance
Very good pianist czcams.com/video/iK5c8osbS60/video.html
Le pianiste .. excellent egalement. Bravo
wow such effortless playing
the bow is basically an extension of his arm. definitely one of the greatest violin players i’ve seen
eminem killing it on the piano
Absolutely beautiful
You are a star. The sound of your violin go’s to my heart.
Multi faceted music prodigy collaboration as vibrant as Dawali mosaic organic intricate patterns with flowers, rice powder. Drogone renowned for prehistoric caves and theme parks.
Bravo! Esecuzione straordinaria,complimenti!
wow! that second movement... just wow!
3:24 the left hand pizz omg so perfect 👌 wow
This is the most stunning and beautiful performance I’ve ever seen or heard in my 43 years of violin playing. I had Aaron Rosand’s rendition as my favorite for decades. But this is now Numero Uno in my book. Mr. Zalai’s artistry is without peer. He plays openly and expansively. His music breathes and his playing is effortless. He reminds of the late great David Oistrakh, but Mr. Zalai is his own man. Unique and original. Thank you for posting this video. I wish you great success and many triumphs in your career. I hope you will come to visit us in South Florida!
Alex Saldarriaga . yes sir. He does remind me of Mr. Oistrakh

Fabulous!
I enjoyed this very much! Enchanting play by Antal!
Words reveal their inadequacy in describing such a wonderful interpretation. All I can say is "Thank you". [New Zealand].
I wish I could play that much effortlessly :)

¡¡Bravo!! 👏
excellent!
Genio!!!
incredible! keep it up!
Wow, so effortless. I mess up so many times when I play this..
Bravo!
Bravo!!! :)
My fav perf

Un deleite
perfect playing.
Legal man toca muito
He aquí un extraterrestre tocando el violín 🎻
La música de mi tierra. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
OMG Eminem plays the piano
Guess whos back? Back again.. 0:01
Lolz, Is that Slim Shady?
Nice
Excepcional. Bravo! Antal!
Tisztára Dávid Ojsztráh. (Kinézet, jobb kéz, hegedütartás)
Antal when are you coming to Norway?

Little Oistrakh
In the sheet music starting at 3:44 there are double stops written with the uppernote being the harmonic, as a pianist I don't understand why only one note is played. Someone care to explain?
The lower note in the double stops is used to make artificial harmonics, and they are both supposed to be played on the same string to achieve that. Without the lower note, the artificial harmonic could not be achieved.
The higher note in the double stops is what pitch the harmonic is to be.
3:23
3:09 Antals brain: oh crap, I have to cook at home, my wife isn't h... Oh wait, what is that in the corner of this room
But we really try hard for that 😭😭
Looks like David Oistrakh and Eminem
Some really nice phrases in this performance that I prefer to vengerovs. And some phrases I wasn't a fan of. But it's the first time I've seen this guy and ill be following. Well done sir!
Well I am not a pro but to my ears, Antal excels compared to other contemporary violinists

you skipped a section?
Most violinists make a cut in the first section, I guess it's because the first section is extremely repetitive rhythmically, and also its duration is unequally long compared to the second section. I don't think Sarasate would be cross about this cut. He played only the second section on his own 1904 recording.
