The PUMA x STAPLE collaboration is inspired by Gidra, a California newspaper launched in 1969 to be a prominent Asian-American voice during the American civil rights movement. The collection is influenced by 1960s East-West design mixed with Ivy League style, combining college style with Asian images for a contemporary look.
