Downtown Austin E-bike Tour

In this ride, I begin on the Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail southeast of downtown. I head west and cross the lake at the First Street Bridge then continue north through downtown until reaching the University of Texas campus.

Worked at U.T. for 35 years - my last office was located under the East Mall of the Main Building. Staff used to joke that the U.T. campus was a peaceful place to be when the students were gone. Your videos of central Austin are nostalgic for me.

Nice video. I broke my collarbone wrecking on the hike and bike trail a few weeks ago. Watching this while waiting for bone to heal so I can ride again. I could tell it was a weekend because more traffic to go around. What kind of bike do you ride?

This bike is a Velotric Discover 1. I just got it last week, and so far I'm really enjoying it. It definitely makes hills a lot easier.
