Larry, great recipe, i like my taters crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside so do not feel bad, you can get em' both ways in the same pan as mrs. Wolfie wants if you cook em' right. I guess the fire disc is our version of the asian wok, it is pretty cool, i like it. Sold in stores or just online ?, might get one. Taters= crisp yours up to the way you like them, like me, and remove to a bowl. Put mrs. Wolfie's in with the veggies to cook soft and at the very end after your beef is done, just warm yours up on one side of the pan and scoop hers to the other, wa-la everybodys happy, lol, it works, i do this type of cooking in a pan for me and wifey and not just taters.
Damn you Larry, I ran out of beer already.
Are you able to refer me to a page that would have a list of foods that are okay to eat with high cholesterol and high bp? Im in my mid 30's, the doc says my bad cholesterol is quite high, and that im too young for a cholesterol pill. but its so hard trying to learn whats good or bad, and reading every label while shopping is just too tough and time consuming. This especially sucks, because it's summertime, and grilling sausages, beef dogs, and burgers on the grill is what I usually do. I still have been, but not nearly as often. Been trying to eat more turkey and ham over beef, wheat instead of white, olive oil based spread instead of butter, oil and vinegar based dressings instead of ranch.l, etc etc. Anyhow, I just wish I could find a straight forward simple list of specific foods. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Wolfe!
Thank you for this recipe I can't wait to try this on my family
I love wolfpit. Anyone else would've lied through their teeth for their sponsors. Wolfpit gave us a true review of the fire disc and we should all respect that!
Wolfepit hasn't always been so conscientious about his sponsorships, but for the past couple years he's been doing it right. There was that one pellet smoker vid, IIRC, where people rightfully gave him shit, but since then he's kept honest and upfront about any sponsorships. Overall, he's doing pretty good. Not perfect, but pretty good.
Mukinrestak no, his doing prefect
Would they? How can you tell?
@@Mukinrestak Oh shut up.
@@Mukinrestak He lived and he learned on being upfront. Now that I've seen this video I would consider buying one.
This looks awesome! I usually cheat by buying a can of corned beef and just add potatoes and onion to it. When the alcohol poisoning wears off, i'm gonna try your recipe!
If you make roll-ups (burritos) with this, you can call them Wok and Roll-ups.
Very punny😁
LMBO..lol!! Awesome
That's the name of my favorite restaurant...Wok and Roll...really.
Most of your recipes are interchangeable as far as meat and starches. Rice for pasta or potatoes or chicken for ground meat, etc. That’s why they’re so awesome! We can use whatever we have on hand. Makes a budget stretch and adds variety for your family.
That's 27 Shots for anyone wondering
Jesus christ whoever commited to the game is dead now
Tequila
Em truinf to ttpe thid our bur i csnt see straot enougj to get it donr. I shoikdve stipped esrly. I need meduc.
I had to stop the video half way thru and make a trip to the beer store... Boy do I gotta go take a leak , be right back... LOL
RIP my liver
9 shots in less than 2 mins, best WolfPit episode yet!
" I let Mrs WolfePit do the honors. " Lol how gracious of you.
Mrs Wolfepit, your're a good woman.
they should have make a lid for the thing.
It's does $100🤬😤😖
@@unitedstates4162 You could probably get a trash can lid for under 20.
@@unitedstates4162 thanks 4 the heads up on co$t.
@@marshmutt8975 just buy a wok for that price
We have a lid
Growing up with my mom, I'd never eaten hash. When I moved in with my dad for college I was introduced to his favorite breakfast-for-dinner partner. Mary Kitchen Roast Beef Hash in a can. He'd heat that up with some over easy eggs and toast for a simple dinner that was super tasty and pretty cheap too.
This is an expensive meal, haven't even started shopping for it yet and already went through a bottle of crown royal
@Techrecycle4u I was referring to the drinking game he mentions in the first 15 seconds of the video
Add cheese and rap that in a tortilla and it will be bomb
Thanks for the great video! In regards to the cover, they are water resistant but we always recommend you put your disc upside down. This prevents water coming in and also condensation from forming and siting in the disc.
FIREDISC COOKERS - Ah ha, upside down is the way to go then!! Thanks!
I just watched Wolfepit's video. Liked your product but am not a fan of the red color. Neat cooker, though! Love the simple dis- & re- assembly.
@@patriciatinkey2677 we have black cookers too
@@patriciatinkey2677 I'm not a fan of "red" anything
Celery would be a good compliment to the bell peppers and onions, it naturally adds salt, flavor and stretches the mix. Pork shoulder / butt would be perfect for this. With a couple of eggs and some shredded cheese this would be a good way to start a cold winter morning in the Mid West.
For those who don't have this equipment, brown hamburger in a pan/skillet, add sliced or diced potatoes and diced onion, and if you feel really generous, add some canned or frozen veg and/or mushrooms. I would strongly suggest adding mushrooms, because they are a natural way to get Vitamin D, which most foods don't carry much of. If you get food from a food organization like I do, canned food is as common as dandelions, and dandelions are actually very healthy if you can find them not near a road or other place that is sprayed with any chemicals. More iron than spinach, blah blah blah, you can look them up. The whole plant is edible and very healthy if not sprayed.
"What sounds better than a big ol' plate of tofu hash?!"
Answer: Most things, actually.
Would the leftovers be known as rehash?
Lol!!!

"I'll circle back on that..."
🙂😂🙂
Just got back from the hospital after being treated for alcohol poisoning. Thanks a lot, Larry.

That's your problem not his. Don't transfer blame. Your elbow bends to drink not his.
I think it needs to be said... Kevin is a real man to wear shoes like that.🍻
We call this Who Hash in my house after How The Grinch Stole Christmas. I've made it with all kinds of meat: chicken thighs, pork chops, hamburger, left over steak, smoked sausage, you name it. I usually like to add some cheese and serve it with sour cream.
The word should of been wok you would be drunk after 20 seconds
Thank you so much! I had so much trouble with a carbon steel paella pan, and then, it was because I didnt season it. I wound up eating the patina!
A little iron wont hurt you. There's been studies that cooking in cast iron does supplement your iron intake.
so you are encouraging me to play the wolfe pit drinking game at work ?, I like that idea sir wolfe pit
I like how you have different intro pics for different series
Those closeups of the hash absolutely made my mouth water. Looks so good!
I love ground beef and peppers. The next time I have them, I definitely will add onions and potatoes. And probably cheese. When I make it for my sister, I will leave out the beef and use mushrooms.
Always love it when you get a new cooker!
Some brown gravy would taste great I bet, great video as always!
Looks yummy. I bet the wonder dog was waiting for some spillage.
I bought the short fire disc 279.00 and love it, we use it for camping, tailgating and around the house, my uncle should have patented his, he did this 40 years ago from some old bed rails a rear brake drum from a VW and a 55 gallon steel barrel top with a burner under it.
Thanks for sharing, that looks wonderful 👍
I’m having hamburger hash for supper tonight!
I’ll try this recipe this weekend. Have a good one bud.
I just found your channel. I think Mrs. Wolfe Pit is the brains of this operation???? Keep up the great work.
Wow! That looked great and I think you're right in that mushrooms would be good in there. You'd just either add them near the end or sautee up a batch in butter with plenty of garlic, then combine with what you made. Super job!
I made something comparable back when I still lived alone on the occasion. I also added a sauce made out of a bit of milk for texture and coating and seasoned it with salt, black pepper, garlic and made a sauce of ketchup and mustard. This type of food rocks 👍
Yes!! a great idea on taking a drink of your, favorite beverage, for every time you said Fire Disc.. started out to be a good idea but i soon realized i better knock it off, i want to finish the video, after all.. and i did.. great detail in what the possibilities of this product are.. & also the end result.. nice.. take care....
i must admit this looks really good, but when i saw you scooping up the grease i thought GRAVY....
Oh he probably did afterwards 😆
Y'all keep that family love much love and blessings
My mother did it with ground beef onions and potatoes mostly, sometimes she added carrots but it always had a gravy in it.
your account makes me laugh and you seem very happy/enthusiastic in this video!!
Great recipe suggestion as always!
Awesome cooking! You just showed me something new!
I have always cooked on a budget. I still do. I really enjoy your videos. New subscriber thanks you!
Delicious looking meal Larry!
Looks tasty need to try this
Splendid love your show
Dude! I only take shots and this one got me. Now me and my buddies have to go back to the liquor store.
Ohhhh ... I like that Fire Disc thingy. Nice!!!
Whisky in hand, I have a feeling its going to go fast
Can't wait to try this dish! I'm thinking of adding pinto beans to it as well.
That looks really good.
My wife makes this for me. It goes a long ways. It's so darn good. But I have to get some of that McCormick spice.
That looks delicious; I'd be adding a cup or so of peeled and chopped parsnips (love that vegetable!), and probably a turnip or two. Since it'd be for only me, I'd also cut up a couple of beets and add their sweetness to it.
But I'm weird that way--I like root vegetables a LOT, and winter root veggies are the only ones I can eat besides potatoes, lima beans, carrots, and corn.
Noobs: Season the meat
Amateur: Season the butter
Intermediate: Season the cutting board
Experienced: Season the seasonings
Pro: Season the fucking pan
My my my. This looks delicious and I have a tube of hamburger thawing so I know what I'm having tomorrow. ☺️
wow that looks amazing!!!
Thanks for the videos
I'll be purchasing this Fire Disc very soon.
Your channel is dope as hell man. I love it. SUBBED
30 shots coming in!!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Loved the "Wolfe pit drinking game"!!!!! Nice hash 🤤🤤🤤
2:30 nice winter boots!! I have a pair of them myself.
Looks really good
Another fantastic dish Mr Wolfpit!
I grew up on this stuff and still eat it today. But mine was the New England version. Just add diced carrots and, very important, diced pickled beets. (red flannel hash). Enjoy....
I like that Firedisc !! That would be cool to own!
I agree with Mrs. Wolf, hash you have to have soft, baked potato like potato's. Looks great but for me I'd need a good dusting of black pepper and a couple pieces of white toast
@3:20 to bold a fox hole!!!😂🤣🤜🤣 thanks for the chuckle.
I have always loved making hash. as a vegetarian I just add imitation ground beef. I also like adding a ton of smoked paprika to mine! 😃👍
Larry, I have cooked on something similar to this before. But it was more of a flattened Wok than what you show. Can't remember the name-only available on the West Coast. And it did not have a 'bow' in the middle for oil to run into. BUT, it did require seasoning like a Real home wok, but it was probably 36 + inches across. Fabulous toy. Wish I could remember the brand name.
Thanks for your videos thanks 💘 😊
Ok..... I'm 2minutes and 45 seconds through this video and already drunk...... Of course I've already had several glasses of my favorite wine. I'm seeing this on Christmas night 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 I'm a bit late to the party, but Merry Christmas you guy's!!!!!!!!!!
I'm really considering buying one of these
Great job Mrs.Larry Wolf-Pit!
dude that would be awsom on a serving of rice. gonna try that as soon as I can stand longer than 10 minutes at a time. have a dvt in my right leg, haven't been at work since the 20th of December of 2019, so as soon as I can bam, gonna give it a go , thank you and Bella, Bella means beautiful, by the way, I know, bhad a blue heeller short haired pointer mix named Bella!!.
Reminds me of Giniling which my mom made for us growing up in the Philippines.
HA HA!! Some peeps darn gonna be drunk as a skunk!! not me, but I like the fire-disk. The meal looks YUMMY!
Great videos, greetings from Mexico MrWolf
If you leave the potatoes out. Add tomato sauce and cheese I learned this recipie as hamburger pizza. You can add any pizza ingredient you like. I add picante instead of tomato sauce most times. I love your channel.
I love this channel. I gotta say, you sound a lot like Chef John from FoodWishes
I like you vids before I watch them, as I know they'll be good!
I'll try to play that drinking game again some other time. I was taking minor sips every time you uttered the "magic words" and was finished with one can before the 5:30 minute mark (and I already had a good 4 under my belt at the time before seeing the video) Hoping you and the family are doing well, .... Chris.
The Firedisk looks awesome!!!
8:53 Mr. WolfePit: "... What sounds better than a big ole bowl of tofu hash..."
Me: "A big ole bowl of tofu hash with HAMBURGER...that's what!!!"
Looks delicious... I think loose Hot Italian sausage or slices of Kielbasa would be great in this dish as well.
This is good stuff. Keep making videos
great video and good information....mr wolfepit
I need one of these firedisks
"What sounds better than a big ol' plate of tofu hash?"
Anything, including an old boot.
You should try red flannel hash yum, yum!
Looks good
I need this thing in my life. 😍
Love the Fire Disk.
Some of these vids are heart attack heaven!
its too early right now to drink 🤣 you dropped fire disc on us so many times hahaha
🌸 That's quite a dandy new toy you have there Mr Wolfe Pit. I can think of so many ways I'd use that Fire Disc. Certainly would be nice to have one but ... I checked out the prices and looks like I won't be enjoying one in the forseeable future. At least I can watch you enjoy yours. Thanks for another great video. Happy eating. Cheers 🍷
I was pouring some bourbon just as he explained the drinking game so I threw that one back but I knew I better not throw one back every time he said the words!
That makes a awesome wok!
This is pretty cool, but I already have a fish fryer and carbon steel wok from San Francisco's Wok Shop.
I'm now well hydrated
