Lewis Capaldi has a voice and heart of gold. He is such a straight up, genuine human being and he's absolutely hilarious. Even just his interviews are worth watching for sure. I second the Graham Norton interview, he was on the couch with Jim Carrey and was able to hold everyones attention.

This was a huge hit in the UK, and spent 7 weeks at number 1 in the UK singles chart in 2019.. It's a song I never get tired of hearing, and I absolutely love this amazing, talented guy. I'm so glad you've discovered him too!

The Uk video for this song with Peter Capaldi, a great actor who is a distant relative of Lewis is a much more heartfelt video which is worth watching as it enhances the feeling of the song much more. The video will bring you to tears. It has the saddest storyline of any music video I’ve ever seen.

This one hurt. I'd never heard it before, but it took me back to being blindsided by a breakup.
I love the dark tone in this voice at the beginning. It sets the mood so well later and makes going into a painful belt so impactful.

Saw him live last year and i can tell you he sounds just as good live. He's such a great singer and such a lovely guy too. He kept apologizing for his scottish accent and told us he's sorry that we might no understand everything he's saying ^^

To me, this song is about having your heart broken after finally putting yourself out there completely again. The video then shows how when you're devastated no one can crack through the layers of pain. In the real world time is the only salve. Then the cycle repeats. Until you're a shell that can't fall hard like that ever again.
Every now and then a song comes along that belongs in a different decade, so refreshing... real music.
The first time I heard this haunthingly beautiful song was on the TV show "The Masked Singer" when the Rottweiler (who turned out to be second-place finisher Chris Daughtry) sang it. (You should check out Chris's performance on your own, too.) And that is when I had to look up Lewis Capaldi. Lewis has another great song out now in the Top 10 in the U.S. with "Before You Go." I listened to this song the whole day today because I just found out my bf who has been living with me for 3 years has a wife and a kid who I thought was his aunt and niece who he wasn't really on good terms with. Now the truth has started coming to light and it's killing me inside because I thought he was sooooo loyal and honest to me. Never for a second did I suspect anything untill now.
