My 2016 Nissan Maxima Platinum doesn't have Android Auto. Will this allow me to use Android Auto or not?
No it is only for supported Android auto cars

The carlinkit that has CP2A as a prefix is an Apple carplay to android auto converter. So if your car has Carplay, then it would allow you to use Android auto.

@SilentRage01 yep, I just bought one for my corolla, which only has apple carplay while I have android devices. It works quite well.
