Flew on N8815L WN 3451 MCO-ISP back in March. The new seats and the cabin as well as the quiet LEAP engines indeed were impressive. Southwest made the right choice and hopefully soon the Boeing 737-MAX-7’s go into service that are also on order.

Odd routing for this a/c--STL-LGA-MSY! So you push back, taxi some hundred feet (thank you for bypassing the safety demo) and Ground Control has you at full stop along with a UA a/c--what was going on that both aircraft just sat there burning fuel? Strangely for LGA, it seemed relatively quiet and didn't observe any traffic that would impede our way to the assigned runway--its as if Ground Control had no clue where to send us, no conga line for takeoff--surprised the AA -800 didn't cross the runway along with us--appeared the pilot used the Whitestone departure pattern, whereby you essentially make a 360 while gaining altitude--Unusual gate assignments--SWA and Air Canada with one SWA parked out yonder away from the SWA gates--I'm no fan of the LEAP engines, too quiet--give a -700 or -800 any day!
