    I really enjoyed the video, thanks for uploading it. I liked the tanks, fish, music and technical quality. I just had to sell all my mbuna and empty the tank. Watching this video brought me good memories.

    Your fish seemed very peaceful back then. Currently have a 55 with about 24 cichlids and another grow out tank of 12 or 13 after one just gave birth. Impressed by the solitude in your tanks. Any secrets to impart? Thanks for the upload..

    Some really good hardscapes. I have a 300l tanganyika tank which I am currently re-scaping. Trying to keep it minamalist but also hiding equipment, not easy. So many tanks look like somebody has tried to build a drystone wall in them, less is more.

    On the very first tank that had a background, what stones did you use for your hard scape? So colorful that they almost drew my attention away from the fish! Also what size tank was it?

  • @AquaStudent
    @AquaStudent Před 10 lety

    It's great looking at the long term progression through the hobby! Those are some fantastic tanks. I remember when you moved from solid color backgrounds to the more natural 'foam rockscape' backgrounds. That was part of my inspiration for my DIY concrete and foam background.
    Also, are you now running actinic bulbs? I replaced one of my bulbs with an actinic. I like the little bit of blue and it helps with the colors. Your tanks look like they are very vibrant with the blues and the color in the fish pop!
    Excellent!

    Hi Marc, I really like the tank at 1:30 and the one you're running now. On another note: what ever happened with the peacock v mbuna tank-off? Are you going to move the mbunas into a new 5' tank around the corner and feature peacocks in your collection again, or are you going to stay the course?
