When you literally dedicate your entire life to something, its impossible to give it up unless you have to. And how selfish of you to be concerned about "your" memories. These are real people with real passions. Not everyone is so concerned with their image, although I'm sure some are.

We walked out of "Foreigner" concert, few years back - overweight, wig wearing and lame vocals - more of a con job, really. After that - no more attending "retirement fund" gigs. As for ACDC- absolutely loved them, still watch their old concerts, but look at Angus now... 🥴

@@tvc153 yes, the secret; he plays music for a living, stays happy, doesn’t have the stress of a day job, although there are definitely stressors in being a full-time musician.
I have been playing 185 to 200 shows a year as a full-time professional musician/ solo looping Artist for 25 years, will be 60, and people still get me as somebody in my 40s.
He didn't do drugs ever he did it all drug free

I met him at PolyGram Distribution Center in Indiana in the 90’s (later called Universal). He was very nice. I thought it was no big deal. Going up to get a picture and autograph from him. But by time I got to him, my legs were like rubber bands. He asked me what was wrong and I said I’m a little nervous and he said there is no reason to be nervous. It’s OK.I cherish that photo and autograph. I got to put my arm around him and as a 20 some year old, it was was something to remember. I’ve met a few other celebrities, but honestly, he was the biggest celebrity I’ve met.

I'm 53 now. Went to see Bon Jovi in Birmingham Alabama around 88, 89 I think. Lol. Somehow with nosebleed tix got down on the floor. They had a catwalk that he and Richie came right to where I was. JBJ leaned down, shook my hand and said "Dude, you have great hair". Which, it almost looked just like his. Haha. About 10 years after that, I started going bald in the center and I have to keep it somewhat short. Life can throw ya curveballs but, he does still have his. White or not, I wish I could've kept mine.
