Housing is way too expensive here, and crime is way too high. For being a small 'city' we have the downsides a large city would have, but not the benefits of big city space, opportunity, or attractions. If I wasn't in the top % of earnings in my particualr field I would have left here for a safer and more affordable city years ago.
To many rich people or moving to areas of Georgia that blacks owned land and now they want they land so they rise the property taxes so they have a hard time paying those taxes. Then the rich folks come in and by the land. That is why he made that statement about Savannah is about love not hate.
