Charlton fan here- Conor was an absolute revelation for Charlton, absolutely gutted to see him recalled and then loaned out to Swansea. I'm absolutely convinced Chelsea have a future superstar in Conor and fully expect him to star for you and England in the future, had he stayed at Charlton he would have been a strong candidate for Player of the Year. Conor will always be welcome at The Valley.

Chelsea academy generally produces cool heads and hardworking players that’s what I love about our academy. The players may not be the most talented but the academy trains them to grow into men at a young age, bold, strong and determined. No unnecessary vanity like tattoos and lifestyle and all that. It’s great to watch. That has always been the Chelsea way, everything for the winning cause.
I’m optimistic about him and I hope he does great while growing on loan and returns to the first team to set the PL on fire

Loved him at Charlton and was gutted when he left, watching this though you kind of understand better the thought process with sending him to Swansea. Seems like a well grounded lad who's willing to put the graft in to make his dreams come true. Hope he fulfills his potential because he is clearly a special talent.

As a Charlton fan, I was absolutely gutted when Conor left us and was not back playing fro Chelsea but for Swansea... :-( he played superbly in midfield and had he been seeing out the last nine Championship games with us, I would have felt 80% confident that we would survive. He will surely be part of a great Chelsea future, if not there are a number of other top flight clubs that will want him, I would love to see him back with us next season - if we stay in the Championship. Good luck Conor and thank you for your efforts with CAFC this season... ! ... :-)

Seen him play a few times this season. He’s got a chance to be in the first team next season. Need a powerful box to box player badly, he isn’t technically the most natural, but he has a superb mentality. A great engine, and always pressing the ball.
He’s a more technical Jordan Henderson.

I think a major reason for recalling him was that he was playing with players who were playing in non league last season; staggering development. (Davison, Doughty, Morgan, Bonne, Dempsy, Maynard)
