i had one question. Most of the canadian universities offer entrance scholarship award to international undergrad students. if we take a bit of saving for 1 whole year of Bachelor's and use the scholarship award alongside we will get the tuition fees covered for 1 year. will we be able to manage expenses of the 2nd year of Bachelor's by doing the part-time jobs during the first year and then apply for CO-OP and other internships and get paid on it and manage expenses of the 3rd year while we are doing the 2nd year? and same goes for 4th(final) year? please clear my confusion over it so i can make a proper plan according to it
I doubt that part time job (20x15.5=$310/week) will cover your tuition which can be $20-30k a year. Many co-op undergrad programs are 5-yr instead of 4-yr. You need to check with your university.

Computer science is a tough career because it involves constant learning. It is not an age friendly career. Say you graduated at age 24, when you are 44, they consider you obsolete. You will need to move into management or doing something else to survive. Not too many programmers made it to 65 in corporations. North American corporations love to outsource programming work overseas. You can be replaced easily by someone making about 1/5 of your Canadian salary.

Concordia University is well known in Montreal. Being in the same city as McGill, it is always treated as 2nd place. Concordia has good Computer Science and Commerce (Accounting) programs. Quebec is a French province. Many professions and jobs require you to speak French.

There are some merit scholarships, but you need to be an excellent student from undergraduate. Some students work for their professors and get paid or have their tuition reduced. But it is very competitive.

What's a co- op program?
In an engineering co-op program, you attend regular classes in Fall semester. In winter semester, you work for a company as intern. In summer semester, you take regular classes again ... and so on. Employers prefer to see the same students back in their rotations because training-on-the-job is a cumulative process.

If you can afford 4-yr undergrad tuition, go for undergrad. Most Canadians find work after bachelor degree; they don't need to take Masters. For engineering, only bachelor degrees are CEAB (Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board) accredited. Because of this, you are EIT (Engineering in Training) automatically after graduating with bachelor degree. In USA, you have to pass a 6-hr Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam to become EIT.
