My best chest pain story that I know about is this: my father woke up in the middle of the night with Strong chest pains, and drove himself to the hospital. He got to the emergency room and they asked him what was wrong and he says well I have this pain in my chest, and they immediately called a code. Once they had them all hooked up and everything and saw that he was doing pretty OK he was able to continue his explanation: a student at the high school where he was a teacher had thrown a classroom door open just as he was approaching it, and it slammed him in the chest. He wasn’t having a heart attack… He had cracked and bruised ribs.
I knew a girl in high school who wanted to be a Marine, but was slightly overweight. In desperation to make the cut, she took a bunch of laxatives one day. Spent the rest of the time on the can. Didn't work, and was quite painful. She didn't make the cut by, I think it was, one pound. She was upset. Eventually she did get in.

Second try the recruiter put me up in a hotel with a crap load of fast food since I was still one pound under. After I got weighed in I probably dropped 3 pounds in the crapper.
This was lowkey a wakeup call to me lol I havent rlly exercised since i was like…a kid playing tag and i have an extremely sedentary lifestyle The other day i went swimming to try and get into doing it for weekly exercise and swam laps for 30 minutes! I felt great in the pool! Didnt want to leave! Then i got out and instantly felt like i was about to pass out
I know the summer is getting hot now (in the northern hemisphere), but just walking around the block is a great way to get some exercise. Easy, no stress on your body, not bad.
Me yesterday at the gym lmao I almost passed out multiple times and I was sweating so much. My personal trainer couldn’t tell because I have a great poker face 💀
Another great option if you have it available in your area is rock climbing. Unlike swimming and walking, it is not just low impact, but no impact if you climb with a top rope. I deal with a lot of chronic pain, which makes it near impossible to exercise, but rock climbing I can do without pain (outside of the basic muscle soreness from exercising)

I've been at this situation. I used to swim competitively. I thought I was still fit even though I haven't swam in about a year. I dove and starts doing freestyle. I was on my 8th lap when I blacked out and I woke up with the sound of my gf screaming and the lifeguard pumping my chest.
lmao been there, didn't pass out, but was damn close. swimming 5-6 hours a week for years, stopping, and then trying to go 400 yards butterfly is not a good idea lmao swimming is good though. when I was actually doing it consistently, I've was in the best mental state of my life. would recommend
