I am doing a live stream for a non-profit in our city next week, streaming to a Zoom webinar. Something I've never done before. We use a Blackmagic switching system with a Web Presenter, feeding into OBS. I'm a little anxious about doing this because we've never streamed to Zoom before. Thanks for the help.
How to capture the audio outputted by obs into zoom ....I find that when I am recording things on zoom and using virtual camera of obs....the sound quality being recorded on the zoom is not of the same quality as that recorded by obs ...how do I ensure that the sound quality of recordings on zoom match the same as obs

This is probably a ridiculous question. I’m new to this but why exactly would you want to connect OBS to Zoom? I’m doing virtual conferences and most of them use Zoom. What’s the advantage of doing this? Best!

Yes but not in the same zoom. You would need one computer to host a private zoom and then another computer to capture that to send to your main audience

I have a group using our church and equipment. They would like to be able to send there PowerPoint and a live feed to there Zoom meeting. Our OBS streaming setup system currently captures video from our in house media and sound systems along with various other video cameras. So my question is could we feed Zoom from OBS with multiple images on the screen?

Great video! Do you have to be actively streaming for OBS to output to virtual cam? And have you ever experienced sync issues between the audio and the video setting it up this way?
Syncing is due to the system not being fast enough and no you do not need to stream with OBS to use the virtual camera. The program just needs to be open and virtual camera active.

Are you really "streaming" to zoom or just imaging the camera? The sound is not streamed so there's a potential delay between the sound and the video. How do you fix that?
You are using OBS as your Zoom camera and there is no delay as long as your system can handle it. It is no different than telling zoom to use a webcam and microphone.
Do you have to be the Zoom Host to do this? Im going to be featured on a zoom call and I want to use OBS as an oncoming guest. (haven't finished video yet Sorry if you answered this later in video)

Hey Ajay, my only question is why are you streaming through Vimeo to get to Zoom? My concern is to get the Vimeo Stream Key, you have to pay Vimeo $75/mon, plus the payment to Zoom. Am I missing something? I have seen other methods that use audio cable plug ins and using the "Start Virtual Camera" option in OBS. Is using Vimeo a better quality result? If you send their audio through like an audio interface like the scarlet 2i2 you will have an option for a regular mic and instrument sound. In zoom they would select that device for their input sound and on your side with OBS, you only need to follow the rest of the setup in the video and you will get their audio too.

It is directly in zoom. The video button has an up arrow when in a meeting that allows you to change to different cameras or you can get to it directly from the app under the gear

Hi! Thank you for this video. When I use OBS camera on Zoom and the scene includes an image or PPT, it gets a bit blurred. The video itself is okay, but there's an issue with texts and images. How do you make sure that images and texts are not blurred?
That all depends on what you have connected to it. If you have an atem connected to OBS or vmix, you will only see the program output. if you have multiple capture devices on your computer vmix and obs can see each like the atem multiview

I was thinking that the ATEM software interface was limited and that either obs or vMix would be more flexible, but also keep what I’m using from the ATEM software like multiview. You need to install a virtual cable to connect your audio from obs to Zoom.. i just referred from a tutorial here in YT as well..it worked. vb-audio.com/Cable/index.htm

Hey, I have a question. No matter what I do, my image in Zoom stays mirrored. Any idea how to fix this, apart from manually flipping everything in OBS? It's really odd, because the Zoom video preview shows the correct image, but in the zoom call, it shows the mirrored view - which is super annoying for text etc.
Good video. You know your stuff, but you were moving too fast and not stating what you are clicking on. For example you said, "Let me get my key" but you did not say what key or where you were getting it. For us novices, it would be great if you stated every selection you made so we can memic it on our side.
@@gospeldjxpressit4732 you just need to install the vb- audio cable and set all audio from obs to go into the vb cable and then in zoom set the mic to the other end of the vb audio

No you don't need Vimeo it will work with any streaming platform

You would use the audio from OBS as it will normally be in sync with the video from OBS

There is no streaming key to connect. You need to start the virtual camera and in zoom select the obs virtual camera as your camera

Right Click on Audio Mixer -> Advanced Audio Properties -> then the audio channel you wish to broadcast to zoom set as Monitor and Output
Is this Virtual Camera also picking up your audio?
no you need to use NDI or virtual audio cable

How can I only "stream" to Zoom without any other streaming option?
That is done automatically. You just need a device that Zoom can see and then select that device in the Zoom settings
is there any way to get audio from OBS to go into zoom, like would i be able to choose OBS ADUIO in the MIC tab for zoom

Zoom won't get anything from obs and would require a dedicated audio source for zoom

Hey, I have a question. No matter what I do, my image in Zoom stays mirrored. Any idea how to fix this, apart from manually flipping everything in OBS? It's really odd, because the Zoom video preview shows the correct image, but in the zoom call, it shows the mirrored view - which is super annoying for text etc.
In zoom under settings check of mirror image under video options

What if you don't have a subscription to stream to vimeo? Any alternative that is free?
CZcams, facebook, twitch, daily motion. Any of these would work as well
Good video. You know your stuff, but you were moving too fast and not stating what you are clicking on. For example you said, "Let me get my key" but you did not say what key or where you were getting it. For us novices, it would be great if you stated every selection you made so we can memic it on our side.
The key is the streaming key from the desired platform you want to stream to

i was on zoom and theres a zoom icon in front off my camera
I was able to stream to zoom without streaming but no audio in Zoom.

@@gospeldjxpressit4732 you just need to install the vb- audio cable and set all audio from obs to go into the vb cable and then in zoom set the mic to the other end of the vb audio
