She is just as real and alive as Gamora is. Her father took so much from her, but he couldnt take her emotions, or her true personality. Her backstory is my favourite of all of the Guardians maybe all of Marvel. Just my humble opinion though
"That makes you the idiots" 😂 Nebula crying has such a strong impact. And it makes so much sense for Mantis to say the words Nebula can't. Beautifully executed scene ❤
I love that this came directly after Nebula and Mantis’s screaming match. Nebula seemed cold, uncaring. Mantis was convinced that Nebula was a heartless person. And then here is this moment, with Nebula crying for her friend. I think it made Mantis realize that there are many different ways to express emotions. All Nebula wanted to do was protect her friends, and the stress made her hostile. But she cares for all of them, more than words could express.
My most favorite was when she was playing paper football with Tony. It was her first time being in a friendly competition. Not a competition to who gets to keep their eye. Or who will get torn apart and put back together. Just good old fun.
Folks gotta realize that when thanos snapped, it was only Nebula and Rocket left from the guardians, and that is where they really formed their bond. On top of that, Nebula looks more human because of Rocket, his tech skills allowed him to transform little things about her appearance such as giving her eyebrows. 2 of the most damaged characters ending up with peace, family, genuine love and support
I like that Mantis saw Nebula's state but spoke for ALL of them instead of just Nebula. It's not just honest, it's more considerate of Nebula's emotional state, not putting her on the spot. It's a contrast from how she acted when she first met the Guardians, blurting out how Star-Lord feels a strong romantic and sexual attaction to Gamora.
This scene ❤ I felt exactly like Nebula when they saved Rocket. 😢 And what Mantis said was the cherry on top, just perfecly said: Rocket we love you very much and we're happy you're alive. 😭🤧💖🦝🦡
Nebula was suppressing her emotions as a warrior as she should be, but i noticed her actions in this Guardians 3, she's more hands on and protective. Like a mom. This time around she really does care. It's great she wants to be the leader of the city. She's made for it. Such a great character arc 😊
Aw Mantis tilted her head thinking “wait she actually does care about rocket a lot”. She didn’t want to make a big deal of her showing emotion so she spoke for all three of them(herself, Nebula and Drax)❤️
So many action movies forget the emotional weight behind their own plots. That’s what makes the Guardian movies so special. It’s sci fi action with a ton of heart
@@charminghabanero I'm really just now seeing the whole movie and yes. When they get access to Rockets visual file and watch it. She and Peter were the most effected by seeing it
Nebula's reaction hit hardest for me. Nebula is a cold hearted bitch, but to see that she actually does care for her friends just ripped at my heart strings. Im glad rocket is okay.
I love how rocket bonded with nebula after yondu showed him that other people suffered as much as he did, so he showed nebula care since they both had suffered so much and lost so much to
Nebula crying causes me to break more than Rocket's near death. I don't know why that's a thing since Rocket is my favorite character in all of history
Nebula became my favorite character after end game and this movie. She had to most character growth in the whole marvel universe imo. She’s so sad all the time but she really loves her people. She reminds me of my sibling. A dark soul with a big heart. 💔
if i were to be transported here from the year 2014 and immediately was sat down to watch this movie, there would be a whole lot of things i would be confused about but the most shocking would be how natural and good nebula’s character development is. crying for rocket, wow
I love Mantis because she's adorable and she must be protected at all costs but her addition to the team always felt pointless. Now, I see why she's important. She's an empath, in a family of weirdos who tends to hide their feelings beneath cussing and violence.
(EDIT I've been informed that only Nebula and Rocket survived the Snap, no Peter my bad i forgot, been a while since i last saw the movie) this is proof that as harsh as she SEEMS to be, Nebula DOES care for people. and she bonded especially strongly with Rocket, obviously during the Snap her sister gone, Thanos MIA (not that she cared for him tho, but still), most of the guardians gone except Rocket and Quill, leaving her to bond with Tony and the rest I mean she cares for Rocket cause she got him Bucky's arm for christmas!! but still. hearing her nearly in tears is amazing- she's still a badass no doubt, but she's a badass who now has friends and family, to look out for and who look out for her.
Drax and Nebula paused for a second (maybe more) at the racoon's voice alone.. a beautiful summary of guardians of the galaxy (Gamora also summed up pretty well earlier)... will miss these characters... GOG rulez ...
Unpopular opinion: Dave Bautista is the best wrestler turned actor. Way more range than Dwayne, who literally plays the same character in every movie. Even Black Adam was the same character.
🐾I just saw the whole movie the other day and I didn't know that they literally said my last comment. Crazy coincidence 😂. Oh and I had to rembers the 5 years they spent together. As the only survivors of their team/family. Nebula complety changed
Well, Rocket and Nebula were the only surviving guardians during the blip, which means they had to keep eachother company for 5 years. Makes sense that she would cry after hearing he's okay. Rocket really means a lot to her...to all the guardians. 🥲
This was my favorite scene in the movie. You can really tell how much Nebula bonded with Rocket during The Snap.
Oh yeah, never thought about that
They have an unspoken friendship that can never be broken ❤
When Captain Marvel brought her and IM to Earth, Rocket sat down next to her and put his paw on her hand.
I really like their friendship, id love to see more of it, it makes so much sense on so many levels
This is what happens when you remove her abusive psycho father out of the equation. Nebula, the survivor community is so bloody proud of you!
Plus her and rocket had 5 years to have a stronger bond when thanos snapped

Nebula going from calling him a 'fox' to crying her eyes out in relief when she hears hes alive.
Character development!
And Rocket asking about Nebula the first time he woke up.
Yup he asked where's nebula
So much character growth for both
wasn't it beacuase he saw her code calling the ship?
"well that makes you the idiots then" I love how with just the tone of voice I can tell he does genuinely love them.
What an amazing moment for Nebula. She has the family she always wanted

Nebula has the best character development in all the MCU
Absolutely agree!!!!!
I believed that until Loki S3
It was good but Tony’s was the best. The guy went from someone that only thought of himself to one that sacrificed himself to save everyone.

rocket asked about nebula
Mantis saying what Nebula can't😢❤
Mantis being the empath was not only feeling her own emotions but feeling and understanding Nebula’s as well realized Nebula wouldn’t have the words🥹

New Gamora is like old Nebula
changed characters
Slightly less mean
Well she was Thanos’ favorite for a reason
❤ Why is Nebula?
😂😂😂😂
Nebula spent like 5 years with Rocket
She even pend time with tony as well.
Let’s be honest, Peter knew what he was doing this time, Nebula has nobody to blame

Except the exact opposite in every other way
I feel like mantis also said that for Nebula as well as everyone else. She could tell how much Rocket meant to Nebula.
