    That’s insane!! I was excited to see what this was about but it looks like a very tedious setup and breakdown . The modern pop up tent matched with an old classic 8hr assembly.

    Question what happens when he returns to the tent? How easy is it to get all lined up again?

    Good for when you need a basecamp and do not plan to move your rig. Especially if you have a larger family or group of friends. Definitely not for everyone and I do not bring it with me when overlanding. If overlanding the attachable awning works better.

    Hello, does it work with Subaru Outback properly? I mean, if Subaru is high enough from the ground. I have Skykamp 3.0. Thank you.

    Hello i camper very nice video. Actually i want to buy an ikamper 3.0 with its annex plus, and i have a mercedes sprinter with a high roof (285cm car high from the ground) will this annex fit or its going to be a bit high from the ground especially when im going to add some roof rack to hold the tent wich going to add some extra 10 centimetres in the total high of the tent from the ground.
    So to conclude will this annex support 295cm in high from the ground or its going to be lifted off the ground (are the pin rings going to be lifted off the ground ). Looking forward to hear from you and thanks again for your turorial videos. 1:49

    Thank you for the video. Can you tell me about the door on the narrow side. It seems it has a mesh and panel, is this correct? I am asking because on you site you have Annex Plus Vista Window which is supposed to transform the door inti the window. Why do you need it if the door already has a window?

    Are you planning to sell a Small Annex for the Mini 3.0?

      They have it for the mini too. Just orders one.

    What happens if you mount the tent mid or low height on your struck bed, does that mess with the annex?

  • @TK-510
    @TK-510 Před rokem +3

    This thing seems like an absolute pain to setup up and tear down. Kinda de-immersifies you from the fact that you have a minute setup pop up tent. Will be looking forward to a smaller, quick setup design for the 3.0 mini

      For the low, low price of $890 and it doesn’t even come with a footprint! 🤡 You could buy two pop up Gazelle hub tents for that price.

      @@jamessink3736 Right? I did some research on the annex-s on their site and its way cheaper, and quicker to setup. like 230

    I bought into the hype and got one. Too tedious to set up and break down. Okay for base camp if you don’t need your vehicle to explore. If you do detach and return expect to readjust everything. It will not line up. Pain in the arse. Not for overlanding. Also you need the tent set up high like in a lifted 4x4 as shown. If you have a low profile mount on the bbed the annex does not fit right. You need to extend the poles very wide making the annex lean and not line up right. Waste of money. Get the attachable awning for extended shade and I got a gazelle gazebo.

    And how can you do it? When it's free-standing? I want to have no open tent when I drive away are one thing is closed!

      @denniskleinhaus8501 Před rokem +1

      Hallo! I have the same question. An open tent is a no-go. I think it is possible to install a separate tarp with hooks on the front tent pole. I will definitely try it out. It's a shame that ikamper is putting such an immature product on the market. And expensive too.

      Hey there! This isn't currently compatible with the BDV Duo or Solo. Be on the lookout for a separate Annex Plus for the BDV coming in 2023!

    Leaving an open tent to the elements is a crazy design... Have you heard of wind... Omg this is a very poorly design to leave it standing. Please design a closure for it. To sell us 😂
